Bai Ruozhen didn't answer. Song Mei felt anxious and nudged her. "Fifth sister-in-law, please say something."
"How would I know if you two have a good personal relationship?" Bai Ruozhen was at a loss for words. "Sister-in-law, don't you know whether you have a good relationship or not?"
"If I knew why, why would I ask you?" Song Mei glared. "If you don't want to tell me, forget it. Who cares?"
Bai Ruozhen was so angry that he laughed, "I don't care why you ask me."
"You!" Song Mei pointed at Bai Ruozhen, "How can someone like you enter the Gu family?"
Bai Ruozhen refused to give in, "I'm also quite puzzled as to why such a good man like my eldest brother married someone like my eldest sister-in-law."
"What's wrong with me? Tell me, what's wrong with me?" Song Mei got angry when she heard this and approached Bai Ruozhen aggressively.
Bai Ruozhen leaned on the edge of the kang and looked at Song Mei, and suddenly thought of Bai Ruoxin. Why are there so many terrible people in this world, and she always meets them. She is really unlucky.
"Sister-in-law, what's that?" Gu Xiaoli saw Song Mei was still nagging and reached out to pull her aside. "Why are you bringing up Fifth Sister-in-law when we're talking?"
Song Mei was stunned. "I just want to know why you only make clothes for her and not for me."
Bai Ruozhen breathed a sigh of relief when he heard that, and actually turned back.
"I told you, we don't have a good personal relationship, so gifts are a give-and-take thing. Fifth sister-in-law is willing to give me something, so of course I'm willing to give her something. Eldest sister-in-law is so stingy and never gives me anything, so why would she expect me to give you something?" Gu Xiaoli said quickly. "Do you understand?"
Song Mei pointed at Gu Xiaoli and jumped up, "If I knew, I would ask you. Now I'm not asking me whether I will give you something good, but why you don't do it for me."
Gu Xiaoli was shocked. She glanced at Bai Ruozhen and asked silently, "Is sister-in-law a fool?"
Bai Ruozhen told her with his eyes that it was probably true.
Then Gu Xiaoli couldn't help but hold her stomach and burst into laughter.
Song Mei didn't know what she was laughing at. She raised her chin and said, "Now that we've talked about it, you should make me one." Then she pointed at Bai Ruozhen's clothes and said, "I want one like this, exactly the same."
Gu Xiaoli laughed enough and stood up, "No."
"You!" Song Mei paused, "As a younger sister-in-law, you can't be so partial..."
Gu Xiaoli rolled her eyes. Sure enough, she was back to the same old story. Did her elder brother marry someone with a hole in his brain?
"What are you arguing about?" The door was suddenly pushed open, and Qiu Lanying came in with a frown, followed by Wang Jun.
When Song Mei saw Qiu Lanying coming, she felt even more aggrieved and emboldened. She called out "Mom" and started to complain, "Mom, it's not my fault today. It was Xiaoli who didn't do things properly. You said that my fifth sister-in-law and I are her sisters-in-law, but Xiaoli only made clothes for my fifth sister-in-law and didn't make clothes for my third sister-in-law and me. How can a sister-in-law behave like this?"
Wang Jun, who was following behind Qiu Lanying, waved his hands when he heard her bring him up, "Sister-in-law, please don't bring me up. I never thought there was anything wrong with Xiaoli's behavior."
"What's wrong?" Song Mei raised her brows and tried to argue with the idiot Third Sister-in-law. "We are sisters-in-law and are both Xiaoli's sisters-in-law, right? We should treat our sisters-in-law equally, no matter whether they are good or bad."
Bai Ruozhen raised an eyebrow. "Sister-in-law, since you mentioned treating everyone equally, I bought Xiaoli a military uniform last month. What did you buy her?"
"Now it's not a question of what I buy for her, but why she only makes clothes for you and not for me and my third brother's wife. Aren't we her sisters-in-law?" Song Mei said righteously.
Bai Ruozhen had a headache, feeling that no matter what he said to Song Mei, it would not make sense, so he simply said, "She just likes to do it for me. Sister-in-law, it's impossible for you to ask her to do it for you."
Song Mei snorted and said to Qiu Lanying, "Mom, listen, my fifth brother's wife hasn't even entered the house yet, and she's already trying to sow discord between me and Xiaoli's sister-in-law. If she were to enter the house, our Gu family would be turned upside down."

Qiu Lanying was completely speechless and yelled at the top of her lungs, "Gu Changbai, get over here!"
"Mom, what are you doing?" Gu Changbai heard his mother's roar and hurried over. "Is Song Mei causing trouble again?"
Everyone wanted to laugh immediately. It seemed like Song Mei was causing trouble again. This was not the first or second time.
Song Mei was unhappy, "Gu Changbai, why are you accusing me of causing trouble? This is not my fault."
"I was wrong." Gu Changbai said helplessly, "My mistake was that I shouldn't have married you in the first place."
Song Mei was stunned and then burst into tears, "Gu Changbai, please explain it to me clearly."
"Let me make it clear." Gu Changbai's eyes turned cold and he slapped her directly. "Every time you come to my house, you are looking for trouble. Do you think I dare not divorce you? If I push you to the limit, I will divorce you."
Song Mei was frightened and quickly wiped her tears and pulled Gu Changbai's arm, "Changbai, don't be angry, I won't cause trouble anymore, I won't cause trouble in the future, please don't divorce me."
Gu Changbai said coldly, "Go apologize to Mom, Xiaoli, and your sister-in-law."
"We are all family and you still have to apologize." Song Mei was a little unhappy. After all, she was the eldest sister-in-law and it was okay for her to apologize to her mother, but what was the point of apologizing to her brother's wife?
