Bai Ruozhen has lived two lives, but she has never felt so helpless. In her previous life, after she showed her extremely low learning ability, her mother had given up the idea of letting her study. When they got home, Qiu Lanying quickly asked someone to come into the house to warm up. Song Mei heard the noise, stood up, took a look, and then sat back down.
"Cherry, go and help." Song Mei was reluctant to move so she directed Cherry.
Yingtao responded and was about to go out, when she ran into Gu Changbai.
"Why go out? It's very cold." Gu Changbai said and asked his daughter to go back into the house.
Yingtao glanced at Song Mei without saying a word. Song Mei curled her lips and said, "How can you be so delicate, little girl?"
Gu Changbai frowned, glanced at her stomach and finally swallowed his words.
The door was pushed open, and Song Mei shivered from the cold. She said unhappily, "Close the door, close it, I'm freezing to death."
Bai Ruozhen was holding the bean bun, and Gu Xiaoli came in holding the dumplings. He ignored her and put the child on the kang.
Later, Wang Jun followed in. Peanut was like a dragon entering the river, and went over to play with the dumplings and bean buns.
Song Mei sat down on the kang, leaned in, and covered her belly with her hands. She said to Wang Jun unhappily, "Third sister-in-law, take good care of your child."
Wang Jun looked at Peanut, who was teasing his two younger brothers while they walked, and asked, "What's wrong with Peanut? He's quite obedient."
"Song Mei!" Gu Changbai frowned and scolded.
In the past, Song Mei was afraid that Gu Changbai would divorce her, but now she was not afraid. She touched her belly, raised her brows, and said proudly, "Can't you see I'm pregnant? If those little ones get hit, can you afford to pay for it?"
Wang Jun's face suddenly turned red. She was able to be transferred to Yancheng because of Song Mei's family connections, but she couldn't say that to them just because of that.
Gu Changsong and Gu Changqing came in from outside and saw that the atmosphere was a little bad. They asked, "What's wrong?"
Wang Jun's eyes were red. He walked forward, picked up Peanut, and went out of the house to their room.
"You can get pregnant with anyone." Bai Ruozhen smiled and said to Doubao and Jiaozi while sitting on the edge of the kang, "Come on, sons, get up and take a walk."
Doubao was immediately happy when he heard his mother's words. He stood up with the help of something and walked towards Bai Ruozhen. Jiaozi was not to be outdone. He got up and ran towards them.
Song Mei was so scared that she kept screaming, "Old Wu's, watch the kid. If he bumps into me, I won't let you go."
"What's the matter, sister-in-law?" Gu Changqing asked coldly. Then he looked at Gu Changbai and sneered, "Brother, it seems that sister-in-law is too delicate after being pregnant. Is it not enough for us to leave and leave your family at home?"
Gu Changbai glanced at Song Mei. Song Mei touched her belly and straightened her back. Gu Changbai said helplessly, "Don't bother with a pregnant woman."
