And so, Jiaming served Fourth Master and Hongjing snacks all by herself, while Hongxuan had it easier, only having to feed Hongjing watermelon.
After finishing the snacks, Jiaming fed the little guy Hongjing some water, and then she was immediately abandoned.
Of course, Hongxuan was no exception; for a moment, the two of them were dumbfounded.
I opened my mouth, wanting to get angry and say something to the little guy, but looking at the tiny, fair-skinned, and adorable little guy, and considering his previous stubbornness and refusal to talk to me, I shut my mouth again.
Firstly, I couldn't bear to say it, and secondly, I figured it would be pointless to say it.
Sigh, never mind. Jiaming glanced out the window to distract herself, but after seeing the location of the tree shadows and estimating the time, she knew she had something to do.
It just so happens that she can't do anything about the sulking little guy Hongjing, so it's better to leave this place to save herself some trouble.
So she said, "Judging by the time, it's just the right time to prepare dinner." She then glanced at the Fourth Master and asked, "By the way, would you like to stay for dinner?"
Fourth Master nodded and said, "It's hot, so home-style dishes are fine. Stir-fried bitter melon with sliced pork would be good."
Jiaming nodded, then turned her gaze to the two brothers, Hongxuan and Hongjing.
Hongxuan didn't stand on ceremony at all, and her little mouth started rattling off the names of several dishes, even specifically pointing out which ones her younger brother liked to eat.
Upon hearing what Hongxuan said, Hongjing, who was standing nearby, immediately gave him a smile.
Hongxuan finally stopped looking worried and smiled.
Ke Hongxuan noticed that as soon as his mother left, his younger brother's smile disappeared again.
He couldn't help but scratch his head, unable to understand why.
Hongjing, feeling frustrated: Bad mother! She left without even asking me! Humph, how annoying!
