Chapter 391 Laughing Enticement and Scheme

"Do you like the tree-climbing skills your brother taught you?"

Hongjing squinted, enjoying his older brother's service, and replied in a childish voice, "I like it!"

"If you like it, that's good. By the way, there's something I need to ask you, little brother. You have to promise me, okay?" Hongxuan stopped pinching Hongjing's little arm and looked at little Hongjing seriously.

Hongjing opened his squinted eyes and looked at his older brother, who was waiting earnestly for his answer. He nodded back earnestly, "Brother, please speak."

“Little brother, if you are curious about your older brother, just tell me. Some bad people take advantage of your curiosity and want to do bad things to you. I am very worried.”

Hongxuan spoke slowly, hoping his younger brother Hongjing would understand the meaning behind his words.

As expected, Xiao Hongjing nodded his little head as if he understood.

Seeing this, Hongxuan continued, "So, little brother, if you're curious, just tell your older brother. If it's okay, your older brother can be naughty with you, instead of you being led astray by bad people to imitate your older brother, leaving your older brother to worry about you alone."

Hongxuan spoke slowly as usual. Little Hongjing blinked and roughly understood what his brother meant. When playing with him, like climbing a tree, his brother would teach him to climb, instead of a bad person teaching him, because his brother would worry that the bad person would treat him badly.

Although some interpretations were off, the meaning was roughly the same.

When Hongxuan saw Hongjing turn to look at her from his reverie, she immediately gave him a charming smile and asked softly, "Is it alright?"

Xiao Hongjing was immediately captivated by Hongxuan's warm smile and nodded in a daze.

Hongxuan continued to smile brightly and warmly, tempting him, "You promised your brother, so you can't just try it out of curiosity in private! You have to wait for your brother to come along!"

Xiao Hongjing continued to nod in agreement, still feeling dizzy.

Hongxuan revealed a sly smile of triumph and continued, "Come on, make a pinky promise with your brother."

As he spoke, he took the initiative to extend his pinky finger and hook it around the little guy's pinky finger, then, thumb to thumb, he stamped it.

Coming to his senses, Xiao Hongjing looked at his hand, which was pinky clenched with his brother's, and was somewhat bewildered.

What just happened?

Seeing his younger brother's confusion, Hongxuan kindly explained how he had tricked his brother into agreeing to his request. Of course, he wouldn't say that he had "smilingly seduced" him, but rather he glossed over his little trick and only pointed out what Hongjing had agreed to.

However, even though Hongxuan glossed over the "smile seduction," the little guy still remembered the scene from just now and understood a little that his brother had deliberately smiled at him like that to make him dizzy with infatuation.

The little guy's eyes widened as he looked at Hongxuan, never expecting his brother to do such a thing.

Hongxuan turned his head slightly, a little embarrassed, to avoid the other person's gaze.

The little guy didn't understand what his older brother was embarrassed about, and why he was avoiding his gaze.

Forget it, if I can't figure it out, I won't think about it anymore. His dark eyes rolled around, and a cunning glint appeared in them.

Hongxuan, avoiding his younger brother's gaze, did not notice.

The little guy clung tightly to Hongxuan's leg, tilted his head, and asked in confusion, "Brother, why?" But the cunning in his eyes gave him away, but Hongxuan, who was still avoiding his gaze, didn't see it and really thought he was confused.

Before Hongxuan could explain, the little guy continued, "Brother, smile, it's warm, it's great, Jingjing, I like it!" This was the truth; the little guy really loved it when his brother smiled at him and didn't mind at all that his brother was trying to entice him with his smile.

Upon hearing his younger brother Hongjing's words, Hongxuan's ears turned red, and he felt even more embarrassed.

Knowing full well that her younger brother liked her smile and couldn't resist the power of her warm smile, Hongxuan still used the means of seduction to achieve her goals. The thought of this made Hongxuan feel uneasy.

Little did he know that his younger brother was also a little cunning. In his childish voice, he continued to ask, "Brother, Jingjing, are we being naughty together? It's fun, brother, is it fun?"

Hearing his younger brother's question, Hongxuan nodded and replied, "Happy."

Hongjing: "Okay, brother, don't smile. When you're happy, your face is all smiles."

Hongxuan understood and immediately smiled at his younger brother Hongjing.

Xiao Hongjing frowned slightly, dissatisfied, and said, "Smile, no, it's warm."

Hongxuan was taken aback when he heard this. It turned out that she wanted him to smile more brightly and warmly.

Looking at his dazed brother, Xiao Hongjing said with a hint of hurt, "Brother, are you unhappy? Smiling doesn't bring warmth."

Seeing this, Hongxuan gave his younger brother a warm smile in order to appease him.

The little guy was a bit mesmerized for a moment. After he came to his senses, he saw that his older brother's smile had faded again, and said with some dissatisfaction, "Brother, I want more, smile, it's warm."

Hongxuan: "..." Something feels off.

Xiao Hezi: Of course not. Having just seen the cunning look in Fifth Prince Hongjing's eyes, he naturally understood that Fourth Prince had been slightly outmaneuvered by Fifth Prince.

"Brother?" Little Hongjing continued to hug Hongxuan's leg and called out in a spoiled manner.

Hongxuan always doted on his younger brother, and his brother's request wasn't difficult to fulfill. Even though he had a feeling that something was off, he continued to smile warmly. But as he smiled, Hongxuan noticed the meaningful look on Xiao Hezi's face, which made him feel confused and uncomfortable.

Unable to contain himself, Hongxuan's warm smile quickly faded.

Little Hongjing was still not satisfied and pouted, saying, "Brother, stop smiling, just a little bit, smile again!"

Hongxuan, who always doted on his younger brother Hongjing, refused to accept his brother's repeated request.

Because the feeling that something was wrong was becoming more and more obvious, and Xiao Hezi next to me was acting very strangely. Hmm, besides looking at me with a meaningful look, he also seemed to be watching a show.
