"Okay!" Little Li replied, and immediately began to sort and arrange the furs, packing them one by one into the box.
Hongxuan, however, turned his attention to the gems and pearls. After thinking for a moment, he ordered, "Bring two small boxes."
When he received the two small boxes, he divided all the gems and pearls into two parts and put them into the two small boxes separately.
He planned to give his mother and fifth brother each a small box of gemstones and pearls.
In the end, neither of the two small boxes was completely filled; they were only a little over half full.
Hongxuan frowned. "There are still too few gems and pearls. It should be filled to almost full."
Over there, Little Li had almost finished packing as well. Just by looking at it, he knew that his box wouldn't be full either.
Then he said, "Master, there are not enough furs; they don't even fill the box."
Hongxuan glanced at the box containing furs and nodded immediately, "It's a bit short. It seems we need to find a way to get more furs and valuable items."
Little Li immediately offered a suggestion: "There are shops nearby that specialize in selling furs and such. Your Highness can buy more, or you can buy some trinkets to take back to your concubine and the Fifth Prince."
Hongxuan nodded, indicating his approval of Xiao Li's idea. "However, as for the more valuable items, I, your master, cannot buy them, since I don't have much money. So, this is the only way!"
"What should we do?" Little Li didn't understand what that meant.
Hongxuan grinned like a little fox, "Spoils of war!"
Upon hearing this, Little Li seemed to see again the pained expressions on the faces of the descendants of the various Mongolian princes and nobles on the grasslands in the near future, and the way they looked at their masters with starry eyes.
