Chapter 5 Discovering the Cold Storage

As she ventured deeper, Lin Xi vaguely heard someone groaning in pain. The voice was so muffled and urgent that she couldn't quite tell if it was a zombie or a wounded survivor.

Lin Xi slowly approached and saw a staff member lying at the entrance of the cold storage, with a trolley lying face down next to him.

"What's wrong with you?" Lin Xi's voice became increasingly unrecognizable.

She first stuffed the pork and beef into her bag, then used the bag she had just torn from the supermarket shelf to pack some other meat.

"You want to hoard food, right? I'm the warehouse manager. If you're willing to save me, I'll tell you the passwords to all the warehouses."

Lin Xi paused, her hands still moving. It did sound very tempting. But if she chose to save this person, he would inevitably become her biggest burden.
