Immediately afterwards, Lin Xi, Yang Qiwen, and another of her companions were assigned to the same house, a three-bedroom, one-living room apartment, which was rather small but not crowded.
"Celine, right?"
Lin Xi's feet seemed to be glued to the spot; she stared in disbelief and nodded subconsciously.
A cool girl with a high ponytail walked over, her fox-like eyes exuding a lazy yet indifferent air. "Let's get to know each other formally, Xu Youjia. How old are you?"
"She's almost eighteen."
"I'm twenty-two, more than four years older than you."
"Sister Jia."
Xu Youjia was taken aback; she called out quite naturally.
Lin Xi's eyes were shining, and she looked obedient under her mask.
"Oh, so you're calling each other 'sister' already?"
Yang Qiwen, with her long, wavy hair flowing, walked over holding a bath towel.
Seeing this, Xu Youjia went back to her room.
Lin Xi then turned to look at her, "Hello, Sister Wen."
"You have a sweet tongue." She smiled. "What happened to your face?"
"I have a lot of pimples, it doesn't look good."
Yang Qiwen expressed her understanding, saying it's just acne.
"By the way, is Chen Jin your brother?"
"No, they were just companions I met on the road."
Yang Qiwen's eyes were strange. "He's been quite good to you."
Lin Xi thought for a moment and replied, "Actually, Chen Jin is nice to everyone, probably because he has a good personality."
Yang Qiwen finally relaxed her brows and said, "Alright, Celine, right? Help me and Chen Jin get in touch later."
She winked at Lin Xi, then turned and went into the bathroom without waiting for Lin Xi's reply.
Lin Xi shook her head; this older sister looked like a hungry wolf.
Tsk tsk tsk.
