Chapter 11: Inexplicably Hungry
The original owner, Jiang Qiuqiu, was a worker who had engaged in manual labor. She was once detected to have a B+ mental strength. Although she had not undergone systematic training and could not show the true strength of B+, it was impossible for her to be so exhausted just by making some meatballs.
Could it be that my physical fitness has deteriorated because of my arrival?
No... Jiang Qiuqiu covered her chest, her face slightly pale. If the original owner's physical sensation had not deceived her, her body should not have deteriorated.
Could it be because she'd just arrived and hadn't fully regained control of her body? But why did all the fatigue only come after cooking...
Before Jiang Qiuqiu could figure things out, a fresh and fragrant smell invaded her mind. Her small round eyes suddenly looked at the pile of meatballs by the kitchen. At this moment, Jiang Qiuqiu felt hungry, extremely hungry.
Her sixth sense told her that she needed to replenish a lot of food.
The fried meatballs I made myself were ten thousand times more delicious than the nutrient solution. Jiang Qiuqiu took a spoon, sat at the table and started eating.
The taste of Bibi meat is very similar to beef. The best-tasting meat is processed into minced meat that is not very smooth, rolled into balls, and taken out when it is almost fried. When you take a bite, the meatballs still retain some chewiness and the taste is richer and more diverse.
The only drawback is that they are indeed too small and one can eat several in one bite. Fortunately, she made enough and there is no need to worry about consumption!
After a long while of eating and drinking, the feeling of extreme exhaustion finally subsided. But even though the exhaustion was gone, the mental fatigue remained. Jiang Qiuqiu rubbed her head, not even able to muster the energy to read the comments, and hurriedly lay down on the bed.
Everything about Jiang Qiuqiu returned to silence, but the aftermath of her "delicious food" was still impacting the 110 people chosen by the goddess of luck today.
For example, Qiu Dao, for example, Changbei.
Changbei devoured the fried meatballs in one gulp and fell into a state of intoxication. "This is shocking! Is this the same Bibi meat we usually eat? I feel like my taste buds have entered another dimension."
"I'm so short-sighted and inexperienced. This isn't some pet food maker; this is the inheritor of ancient Earth cuisine!"
“This deliciousness is simply irresistible!”
He enthusiastically praised Jiang Qiuqiu and expressed his dissatisfaction with his partner's silence, "Qiu Dao, why don't you say a word!"
"It's indeed delicious, but we are federal soldiers, we must remain calm—"
"But we're not at war now."
"Even so, we have to maintain the image of the First Legion—"
"But there's no one here except us."
Qiu Dao was still talking, but Chang Bei suddenly stared at his head and laughed, "Ha, Qiu Dao, you are so reserved."
Qiu Dao was stunned, not knowing why Chang Bei suddenly changed the subject.
"You obviously like it, but you keep telling me to calm down."
"I didn't say I didn't like it, it's just—"
"You think it's delicious too, right?" Changbei suddenly jumped up and pinched Qiu Dao's ears. "It's so comfortable that your animal ears are popping out!"
His fluffy ears were suddenly pinched by someone. Qiu Dao's cheeks turned red and he turned his head away as if he was a little angry.
Changbei groaned, feeling like he'd hit the jackpot, and immediately revealed his striped ears and tail. "Qiudao, I didn't mean to do that. The meatballs are so delicious, it's only natural to show my ears! Not only did I show my ears, I showed my tail too!"
He kept nagging at Qiu Dao, and Qiu Dao raised his hand and pushed his face away, "Okay, I get it."
Just as the two were happily chatting, a deep voice interrupted them, "Qiu Dao, Chang Bei, what are you doing?"
The exposed parts of the two men's bodies froze.
