Chapter 56: Thoughts on the Release
Actually, I stopped pushing it last week, and failed to revive it this week. The editor said it can be released, so I decided to release it tomorrow morning.
As soon as tonight is over, five chapters, totaling 10,000 words, will be published directly. This is all the author’s manuscripts in stock.
Next, I will update 10,000 words every day, not necessarily five chapters, because there are too many chapters and the orders are dropping too quickly, so the chapters will be combined later, otherwise the author may not even be able to attend the website's full attendance.
After that, it depends on the situation, one chapter will be 3,000 words or 4,000 words, and a total of 10,000 words will be updated every day.
Now let me talk about the plot. This is the first time I write a period piece. In addition to looking up information, I also asked my grandmother, who was born in 1947, and tried my best to restore the living style in the Qinling Mountains in the 1980s.
In the previous plot, there was a small problem with the price of clothes by a few cents. I will try to see if it can be modified later.
I will try my best to make the prices in the future close to reality.
This book focuses on daily life, family matters and making up for regrets. The first volume is mainly about hunting to accumulate original capital.
Then it will slowly transition to mountain herding and breeding together. The protagonist will step by step build a modern agricultural estate of his own and live a leisurely life.
Going up the mountains, raising animals, raising children, family matters, fishing, farming, the main theme is leisure, joy and warmth.
I won’t write too much about the darkness and unpleasant things of that era, because I believe that no one wants to read those.
Because this is a period novel, there won't be too many business war plots. Currently, the protagonist is hunting small prey because it is just the beginning and it is not very suitable for the big hunting season.
Later on, we will definitely hunt some big prey, and there will be all kinds of thrilling and exciting things when hunting.
Okay, that’s all I have to say. Thank you all for your support. After the book is on the shelves, please vote for it and help it go further.
Because the author is a genuine country person, I enjoyed writing this book and will continue to work hard. I hope I can encourage you all.
Also, I came up empty-handed today while fishing in the stream. The author was so angry that he put down his fishing rod and will try again next year. He is so angry.
