Just as the two men had suspected, Lu Jianxi, after escaping and shaking off the police, focused all his efforts on returning to Yangcheng.

Lu Jianxi was certain the police wouldn't expect him to dare go back.
He wanted to go back and kill Lin Dahai, who had harmed him; his burning hatred propelled him back to the city.
