Chapter 27 Chapter 27 Lunch Feeding

Chapter 27 Chapter 27 Lunch Feeding

At noon, Yin Yan followed Yu Xiangwen like a little tail and got into Yu Xiangwen's nanny car. The staff around were no longer surprised by this.

In recent days, Yin Yan has been having lunch at Yu Xiangwen's place.

The equipment in Yu Xiangwen's nanny car is much more complete than Yin Yan's, and it can cook directly. During a break a few days ago, Yu Xiangwen's assistant Xiao Cao talked about how he made fresh meals every noon, but Yu Xiangwen always couldn't finish them, which was very wasteful.

Yu Xiangwen shook his head, as if he was helpless after being criticized by Xiao Cao. He looked at Yin Yan and asked, "Do you want to come to my place to eat together at noon? The amount for one person is hard to control. If there are more people, Xiao Cao will make it easier and it won't be wasted easily."

Then he said that Xiao Cao had passed the nutritionist exam and was good at cooking. Xiao Cao seemed to think this was a good idea, and immediately took out his phone and showed Yin Yan the photos of the dishes he had taken recently.

Yin Yan wanted to decline politely, but when he saw the photo, he swallowed his saliva, hesitated for a moment, and said with a little reserve: "Well, well, it would be a pity to waste it."

Yu Xiangwen hid the overly obvious smile on his lips and said, "Thank you, Teacher Yin, for helping me with this."

Yin Yan was successfully abducted into Yu Xiangwen's nanny car, and Xiao Wu was also brought along.

They couldn't eat and drink for free at Yu Xiangwen's place every day at noon, so Xiao Wu also started to buy vegetables and took turns cooking with Xiao Cao. After Yin Yan and Yu Xiangwen finished the show at noon, they could eat hot meals as soon as they got back to the nanny car.

The four of them sat together, eating and chatting around a small table. With the friendship they had developed over the past few days of cooking, Xiao Wu also became familiar with Xiao Cao. The two of them on this side exchanged cooking experiences, while the two of them on that side exchanged acting experiences. There was a harmonious atmosphere in the car.

There is a huge difference between freshly cooked meals and the boxed meals in the crew's thermal box. Yin Yan's appetite, which had dropped sharply as soon as he started filming, has recovered a lot in the past few days.

He scooped a few spoonfuls of the broth from the boiled pork slices, mixed it with the rice, and ate until his cheeks were bulging, not showing any sign of his usual picky nature.

Xiao Wu's gaze shifted from Yin Yan to Yu Xiangwen.

The other party had already finished most of his meal and was casually picking up a piece of vegetable with chopsticks, eating slowly, his eyes completely on Yin Yan. As soon as Yin Yan looked up, he bent his eyes, which were meant to bring disaster to the country and the people, and his gentle gaze made Yin Yan's ears slightly red, and he buried his head and took two more big mouthfuls of rice.

Xiao Wu: “…”

It seems like the two of you are just using each other's faces to make fun of each other, right?

I really want to take a picture of this scene, and show it to him when Yin Yan says they are just friends again.

Xiao Wu thought bitterly.

"I'm eating." The door of the RV was open. They looked over and saw the director standing under the RV with a script. He coughed and said, "I can smell the fragrance from you from a long distance away."

Yu Xiangwen asked: "Director Zhao, have you eaten yet? If you haven't eaten yet, eat here."

Since they were all acquaintances, Zhao Qing didn't hesitate and got into the car in two steps.

Xiao Cao served a bowl of rice and took a pair of chopsticks for Director Zhao.

Zhao Qing didn't mind that they had already eaten half of the food. Like Yin Yan, he scooped a few spoonfuls of boiled pork slices, mixed them with rice, and ate faster than Yu Xiangwen.

Most crew members do this, it's a habit developed due to the rush to film. Only when Yin Yan doesn't have time to eat will he choose not to eat.

After finishing most of the bowl of rice in a few mouthfuls, the director took the paper cup handed to him by Yin Yan, drank a sip to calm down, and looked back and forth between Yin Yan and Yu Xiangwen, saying with relief: "You are in a very good state now. You are getting familiar with each other slowly, and the emotional scenes later will be able to be filmed more smoothly."

"The filming of the campus part is almost finished, and Director Yang has almost finished taking the empty shots. The progress is faster than expected. After the filming of this part is finished, we plan to stop shooting for a month or two. The season is not right now, so we will still use real scenes if possible for the subsequent scenes."

Director Zhao spoke a long speech in one breath, leaving it for the people in the car to digest, and then he lowered his head to eat his meal.

I have to say that Xiao Cao’s cooking skills are really good.

Yin Yan also held the bowl and chewed while calculating the time.

With Director Zhao filming like this, it would not be possible for Liu Xiaodong to keep his schedule free to concentrate on acting as he had thought before. The company would be the first to disagree.

I'm going to call Liu Xiaodong after dinner. I guess I'll have to take on some other work during the break.

While Yin Yan was still thinking, Zhao Qing had already put down the empty bowl and chopsticks. He took the tissue handed to him by Yu Xiangwen, wiped his mouth and said, "During the downtime, the two of you should not lose contact. When you have nothing to do, meet more often, have a few meals, and maintain the relationship you have cultivated in the past two months."

The two looked at each other and smiled at the same time.

The director came over in a hurry, had a free meal, told him about the crew arrangements, and then left in a hurry with his things.

Yin Yan finally finished eating, and everyone cleaned up the dishes together, except Xiao Wu who seemed a little absent-minded.

Xiao Wu kept thinking over what the director had just said, feeling a little confused.

So he is narrow-minded...

Brother Yan and Teacher Yu have been on such good terms recently, is it because they want to stay in shape for filming?

Is this the legendary professionalism?

After figuring it out, Xiao Wu was filled with awe, and the way he looked at Yu Xiangwen changed.

From caution and fear, to respect and admiration.

Yu Xiangwen, who was keenly aware of some subtle changes, kept smiling: "......?"

As the weather got warmer, the crew finally waited for a heavy rainstorm in the evening.

Dark clouds pressed against the sky, the wind was howling outside the window, and the atmosphere in the house was solemn.

The family of three lived in a two-bedroom, one-living-room apartment. There was still warm food on the table. Except for Lin Wu who was eating with his head down, the other two adults did not pick up their chopsticks.

The light fell on the dining table. The man sitting at the head seat was smoking one cigarette after another, while the woman was crying silently.

"Look at you!" The woman finally broke the silence, "How can your father and I live like this in the future!"

"You are so young! You have learned such shameless things! Do you know that when the teacher talked to me today, I was standing in your school's office and didn't know where to put my face! I wanted to dig a hole and crawl into it!" Mother Lin's voice choked after she yelled. She turned her head to wipe her tears and said, "You are usually so stupid that I don't say anything to you. Now you start to like boys, huh? Are you crazy?"

Lin Wuhui buried his head in eating, stuffing big mouthfuls of white rice into his mouth, as if this would save him from having to answer those sharp questions.

"Do you really like boys? No one would bite an egg without a crack. It's impossible for others to target you without any basis. Tell me! Did you do something in school? Tell me!"

Lin's mother slapped the chopsticks out of Lin Wu's hand across the table. She picked up her own chopsticks and threw them at Lin Wu: "Still eating! Do you have any shame? You are shameless! Who are you showing off to?"

The chopsticks rolled to the floor. Lin Wu did not move. His hands were frozen on the table. He paused and continued to chew the rice in his mouth bite by bite.

Lin's mother finally couldn't stand it anymore, she stood up, walked to Lin Wu's side, and pushed his head hard: "I'm asking you a question! Are you deaf?"

Father Lin, who was standing by, suddenly slammed the table and shouted, "That's enough! What are you arguing about!"

The rain pounded against the glass window. The room was quiet for a moment before Lin's mother yelled back even louder: "Why are you yelling? You are in trouble now! Don't you look at your good son? If you, as a father, hadn't ignored him all the time, would he be like this now?"

Father Lin also threw down his chopsticks: "Don't I have to make money to support the family? Isn't he the same as you? You're the one who usually looks after him. I've already told you that his androgynous appearance is not good..."

There was a quarreling sound in his ears that was louder than the thunder outside the window. Lin Wu sat on the chair with his body tilted, maintaining the posture after being pushed by his mother. He stared at the chopsticks on the floor in a trance. After a moment, he swallowed the last bite of rice in his mouth.

The pale lips moved, and the room, which was just filled with thunder and excitement, seemed to have been muted, and fell into dead silence again in an instant.

Lin Wu sat up, looked up at his mother, and repeated without any emotion: "Yes, I like boys."

Mother Lin staggered back a step, supported herself on the table, and stared at Lin Wu in disbelief.

After trembling for a long time, Lin's mother raised her hand.

The crisp slap distorted Lin Wu's face.

Mother Lin's trembling voice disappeared in the pattering rain: "...I shouldn't have given birth to you in the first place."

A tear rolled out from Lin Wumu's eyes, fell straight down, shattering the last ray of light in those eyes.

"Cut. This part is over."

The fussy director shouted directly, but the scene was still in silence, without any unnecessary sound.

After a moment, the teacher who played Lin's mother stepped forward, gently put her arm around Yin Yan's shoulders, stroked his soft hair with her other hand, and said softly, "Good boy..."

Yin Yan couldn't hold back the sobs that were stuck in his throat any longer. He leaned against Lin's mother and choked up. "Father Lin" on the side handed him a piece of paper, ruffled his hair, and praised him: "You acted very well."

After a while, Yin Yan gradually stopped talking. He sniffed, wiped away his tears, stood up and looked at the senior in front of him embarrassedly: "Teacher Wu..."

The two hugged each other, Wu Xue smiled and patted Yin Yan's shoulder, saying, "Young people are really formidable."

Yin Yan was extremely devoted in filming this scene. By the time the close-up was finished, his eyes were swollen from crying. After the last shot, he went to the director's monitor to watch the playback and unexpectedly saw Yu Xiangwen also standing in front of the monitor.

Seeing him coming, Yu Xiangwen's gaze lingered on Yin Yan's right cheek for a moment.

Yin Yan asked in surprise: "Brother Yu? When did you come here?"

Yu Xiangwen looked back at Yin Yan's red rabbit eyes and smiled: "It has always been there, but I didn't let you see it because I was afraid it would affect your condition."

A popsicle was gently placed on Yin Yan's red and swollen cheek, making him grin. Yu Xiangwen smiled and said, "You acted very well. Try to get it right in one take tomorrow."

Tomorrow will be their last show in City B.

Yin Yan pursed his lips, took the little pudding from Yu Xiangwen, blinked his eyes, and nodded ambitiously: "Sure!"

Director Zhao Qing looked back at his two leading actors and smiled: "I heard everything. Whoever fails to pass a take tomorrow will treat the whole crew to a meal."
