Chapter 316 Open and Honest
An awkward silence fell over the scene.
Mu Ling and Killian exchanged a glance, then turned their heads away, neither willing to yield to the other.
Jiang Xi gave an awkward laugh.

His words caused Jiang Xi and Lu Liufeng to all turn their attention to the sickly young man who didn't seem to have much of a presence.
The young man, with his long, golden-brown hair, calmly raised his slightly whitened amber lion eyes to meet their gaze.
After a moment, he pursed his thin lips and spoke.
"I can indeed sense the outward spiritual power of the favored females."
"Not only that..."
As he spoke, he raised his hand and touched Tolkien's face beside him.
A bright green light appeared, and after a long time, the wound on Tolkien's cheek was completely healed.
