The platform in the very center was raised, and two steps led up to the binding stone slab, which was placed on the high platform in the center. Behind the platform stood a handsome orc with golden hair and blue eyes, wearing a long golden robe.
As the orcs approached, a smile played on his lips. He bowed slightly, placing one hand on his chest in a gentlemanly gesture.
"Welcome to the Temple of Contracts, and embrace a bright future."
Jiang Xi and Nakan exchanged a glance and stepped onto the platform together.
"We want to get married."
The orc smiled and looked at Jiang Xi.
"Are you willing to marry this snake-like beastman?"
Jiang Xi nodded, "I'm willing."
The orc didn't ask Nakan; he continued.
"Then please have both of you drip a drop of blood onto the slab of the bond."
Nakan quickly stretched out his finger and cut it, causing a spurt of blood to spurt out.
The orc retreated in disgust to avoid getting blood sprayed on him.
Jiang Xi held up her finger, searching for a sharp knife near the binding stone slab.
The last time she got married, Naphel froze her fingers with ice and then cut them with an ice blade.
