Yi Tianran narrowed her cold eyes slightly.
Just as he was about to make a move, the man swiftly seized the pistol, grabbed his shoulder, and with an over-the-shoulder throw, slammed him to the ground.
"Fool, with your weak and feeble posture, you think you can ambush me? Dream on!" Yi Tianran looked down at him with disdain in her eyes.
"Stop!" Chu Lin's henchmen's faces turned ugly. "Release our master."
"He asked for it, what does it have to do with me?" Yi Tianran twirled her pistol, glanced back and fired at the crowd, coldly warning, "If you dare point a gun at me again, I'll make him pay with his life first!"
As soon as he finished speaking, everyone was startled by the intimidating aura emanating from him.
Since Chu Lin's life was at stake, no one dared to act rashly.
"That's more like it!" Yi Tianran nodded in satisfaction, then turned to look at Kasha and the others. "Next, you take Chu Lin and leave the ancient tomb together."
Before she could give the order, Kasha had already swiftly grabbed Chu Lin and tied him up with ropes.
The group now admired Yi Tianran immensely; if it weren't for her, they would all have perished here.
Therefore, they naturally obeyed her every word.
“I know an exit that will get us out of here quickly,” Donald said as he stepped forward.
Looking at the thin and frail Donald, Yi Tianran's eyes reddened, and she couldn't help but reach out and hug him. She whispered hoarsely in his ear, "Teacher, I've finally found you."
Donald reached out and patted her on the shoulder. "Good girl, you've worked hard. Let's go outside and talk."
Although no one understood why, no one dared to ask any further questions.
Led by Donald, they quickly followed a secret passage and headed out of the tomb.
"Fine!" Chu Lin's hoarse voice rang out again like a ghost, "Donald, so you were prepared all along, but you never told me. If I had known, I should have severed your tendons in your hands and feet back then, so you wouldn't even have a chance to escape..."
A sinister voice sounded from behind, and Yi Tianran's face darkened. She suddenly turned around.
Chu Linfei was not afraid at all; instead, he provocatively said, "What? You want to kill me? Then do it. When your hands are stained with blood, the prison door will be open for you at any time."
He knew Yi Tianran wouldn't make a move, which made him even more fearless.
"You talk too much nonsense." Yi Tianran's eyes were cold. She pulled out a dirty and dusty rag from somewhere and stuffed it directly into his mouth.
"Ugh—" The stench filled his nostrils, and his mouth was full of filth, making him want to vomit, but because his mouth was blocked, he couldn't vomit.
His face turned ashen, and he glared at Yi Tianran with venomous and resentful eyes, as if he wanted to tear her to pieces.
Yi Tianran glanced at him with disdain, as if looking down on an ant.
"Enough! Don't go too far!" Chu Lin's henchman, unable to stand it any longer, roared at her.
Yi Tianran shot a cold glare at them, "Alright, stop your incompetent yelling here. Say what you want to say outside."
Deadpool was so intimidated by her aura that he froze, swallowing back the angry words that were on the tip of his tongue.
After about fifteen minutes of walking, the group finally emerged from the eerie ancient tomb.
The entire desolate mountain had turned pitch black, and a cold wind swept across the face, inevitably giving rise to a sense of desolation.
"Alright." Now that everyone was out, Yi Tianran didn't waste any more words with them. "Next, take us back to the capital!"
The Deadpools exchanged glances, then subconsciously turned their gaze to Chu Lin's most trusted and capable assistant, as if asking for his opinion.
After a moment of silence, the assistant discussed with her, "Hand over the antidote first, then release the gentleman."
Yi Tianran scoffed, "Do you think I'm stupid? If I hand over the antidote and release Chu Lin, won't we be doomed?"
Their communication devices had been confiscated the moment they set off with Chu Lin.
Furthermore, there was no cell phone signal in the desolate mountains. If they didn't use Chu Lin's private plane to fly back, continuing to wait here would only lead to their death.
Deadpool retorted, "Then at least give the master the antidote first, that would be fair."
Yi Tianran frowned unhappily. She knew that if she didn't offer some benefits, the other party wouldn't easily compromise.
There's no guarantee that things won't turn out badly.
Although I don't want to save Chu Lin, I have no choice but to back down for now.
Thinking of this, Yi Tianran walked step by step toward Chu Lin, and under his resentful gaze, she snatched the rag out of his mouth.
Chu Lin coughed violently, his mouth filled with dirt, making him feel like he was dying.
Ignoring his pain, Yi Tianran grabbed his hair and forced a bottle of medicine into his mouth.
"Ugh..." The medicine flowed down his throat, and he choked half to death again.
The Deadpool members looked on with pity, but there was nothing they could do to save him.
Less than half a minute after drinking the medicine, Chu Lin's lips turned from bluish-purple to white, and the brown on his fingernails gradually disappeared, indicating that he had been detoxified.
The Deadpools breathed a sigh of relief.
"Can we board the plane now?" Yi Tianran asked.
The assistant in charge nodded, signaling them to follow.
Yi Tianran smiled slightly and winked at Kasha and the others, signaling them to hurry up.
The group continued to support Chu Lin, pushing him towards the plane.
Chu Lin's face regained some color, but his throat was so sore that he couldn't speak. His eyes, however, were filled with malice and madness.
Just as he was about to board the plane, before anyone could react, he quickly broke free of his ropes, pulled out a pistol from his waist again, pointed it at the back of Yi Tianran's head, and roared, "Die!"
This move happened so suddenly that almost no one expected that Chu Lin, who was already powerless to resist, would have a backup plan.
He hid two guns!
Seeing that he was about to pull the trigger, Kasha's expression changed drastically: "No!"
But even if she rushed up to stop her, it was too late.
"Bang!"
A gunshot shattered the silence.
The bullet whizzed away and struck the flesh.
"ah!!"
With a scream, Chu Lin clutched his bleeding shoulder in agony, and the gun in his hand fell to the ground with a thud.
Everyone was stunned.
Their gazes instinctively fell on Chu Lin's beneficiary assistant, their eyes filled with shock.
Just moments before Chu Lin was about to pull the trigger and shoot Yi Tianran, his assistant drew his pistol faster than he could.
As if anticipated, a shot struck his shoulder, and the intense pain caused Chu Lin to unconsciously loosen his grip on his wrist.
