Qin Kou'er lowered her head slightly and smiled, then raised her head and looked at Lan Shanyang with gentle eyes: "Your Majesty, Kou'er has never heard of any Qin family in Lingnan..."
Lan Shanyang turned slightly, looked at Qin Kou'er, and suddenly smiled faintly, "Qin Kou'er, if you try to play such a trick in front of me, I will truly be disappointed!"

For the past thirteen years, every drop of blood and sweat Qin Kou'er has shed has been for the purpose of standing in front of Lan Shanyang and questioning him about why he heartlessly abandoned the Qin family back then. Now that she is actually standing in front of him, how could she possibly back down?

Qin Kou'er was quite surprised to hear Lan Shanyang recount his past.

Qin Kou'er paused for a moment before asking softly, "How did His Majesty find out?"
Lan Shanyang looked at her and gave a mocking laugh. "Where do you think the name Lantingyuan came from? Hmph, did you really come up with it yourself? I personally wrote it down back then!"
Lan Shanyang took out the news he had just received from his wife and showed it off.
Thinking back to that time, Lan Shanyang softened, and even the corners of her mouth blossomed into the gentlest smile.
