No one expected this reaction, and several other young ladies from different establishments followed suit.
Qin Kou'er knew that the drug was taking effect. She glanced at Hu Qianyu quietly, and Hu Qianyu's eyes were filled with indescribable panic and fear.
Lan Linxue knew exactly what was going on. He and Qin Kou'er exchanged a glance, then he immediately ran back, shouting, "Protect the Emperor!"
No one knew exactly what had happened, but the phrase "protect the emperor" was like a spell; whenever it was shouted, a group of guards would rush in from all directions and surround Lan Shanyang.
