Qin Kou'er cautiously stepped inside, "Qin Kou'er, a junior of the Qin family, pays respects to our ancestors!"
As Qin Kou'er spoke, she kept her eyes fixed on the indistinct figure.
"The Qin family has finally arrived!"
A soft, gentle sigh seems to emanate from the depths of one's soul, warmly drifting into your body, making you feel as comfortable as if you were floating on clouds, so blissfully lost in the moment.
"Kou'er, come in! Let me see you!"
Qin Kou'er stared at the white shadow and walked closer and closer.
But when she reached the person who was only separated from her by a veil, Qin Kou'er suddenly stopped.
Staring intently at the indistinct face, Qin Kou'er felt as if she couldn't breathe, her whole body beginning to tremble uncontrollably. And in the midst of this difficult breathing, tears welled up in her eyes for no apparent reason.
With trembling hands, Qin Kou'er finally lifted the gauze curtain in front of her.
"Impossible! This can't be! This can't be real!"
Qin Kou'er stared at the stunning face in front of her, a face she had seen countless times in paintings, muttering to herself and shaking her head uncontrollably, but her eyes and body could not tear themselves away from the face before her.
Qin Meiying watched Qin Kou'er crying in disbelief in front of her, and thinking of the humiliation she had endured for more than ten years, tears instantly streamed down her face.
"Yes! It's impossible! How can the dead come back to life? How can the people in the painting fall down? How can a living ghost become a real person? How is this possible!"
Qin Meiying slowly walked towards Qin Kou'er. Just as her fingertips were about to touch Qin Kou'er's cheek with tenderness, Qin Kou'er reflexively dodged backward.
Qin Meiying's hand hung stiffly in mid-air, unsure of what to do.
Just then, Lan Linxue's urgent voice rang out in the courtyard: "Kou'er! Are you alright? Did you see who it was?"
"Don't come in!"
Qin Kou'er turned around like a madwoman and shouted something to the person behind her.
However, after she finished shouting, Lan Linxue rushed in.
