Lan Linxue walked to Qin Kou'er's side, cautiously looking ahead, and slowly took her hand.
Her hands were a little cold, but Qin Kou'er's gaze was as firm as iron.
"What exactly happened? How come we were blocked as soon as we came in?"
Qin Kou'er turned her head slightly to look at Lan Linxue, "Heavily guarded, there's no way out. The Emperor is waiting for us here!"
Lan Linxue knew that her father was more cunning than anyone else.

Holding Qin Kou'er's hand tightly, Lan Linxue glanced back at her, then said nothing more, and walked towards the palace gate with her hand still firmly in hers.

"Someone come here!"
Hua Rong shouted, and immediately a group of guards surrounded Lan Linxue and her companion.
Before Lan Linxue could speak, Qin Kou'er behind her suddenly spoke coldly: "Lord Hua, I am determined to bring the Prince in today! If you won't do me a favor, I won't stand on ceremony!"
As she spoke, Qin Kou'er was truly impolite, flicking her wrist to throw out several black, pill-like objects, which landed on the ground and exploded with a bang. No one was injured, but thick smoke rose up.

Qin Kou'er whispered something to Lan Linxue, then quickly pulled him inside.
The guards couldn't see anyone at all because of the thick smoke.
When they realized that Qin Kou'er had already rushed through the crowd with Lan Linxue, their eyes stung so badly they couldn't open them again.
The two quickly bypassed everyone. When Lan Linxue arrived at the palace gate, she kicked away the people rushing up from both sides and pushed hard, causing the gate to slowly open.
After pulling Qin Kou'er inside, Lan Linxue quickly closed the palace gates, cutting off everything outside.
When the two of them turned around completely to see the scene in front of them, Lan Linxue immediately exclaimed in surprise.
"What's wrong?" Qin Kou'er asked softly, while her eyes quickly scanned the surroundings.
"This place is completely different from where I was a child! My mother's palace wasn't like this!"
Lan Linxue stared in astonishment at everything before her, as if she had never seen it before.

As she spoke, Qin Kou'er tugged at Lan Linxue, blocking him from walking forward.

The thought of this possibility made Lan Linxue so angry she wanted to kill someone.
Qin Kou'er, holding Lan Linxue's hand, showed no fear and even no precautions as she crossed the center of the courtyard and walked directly into the main hall.
At this moment, Lan Shanyang stood with his hands behind his back, facing away from the two people, his gaze deep as he looked at the memorial tablet in front of him.
As soon as Lan Linxue walked in and saw the memorial tablet, she immediately rushed towards her father.

Lan Linxue now has a lot of questions to ask Lan Shanyang; her father is acting really strangely these days.
Lan Shanyang slowly turned around, looking at the two people in front of him with a gloomy expression.
"Lan Linxue, I told you to wait outside, but did you act like you didn't hear me? Don't you know what punishment awaits you for disobeying my orders?"
