Lan Jiayuan looked up at Wu Zhuo with a sinister expression.
Wu Zhuo's eyes turned as fierce as a vulture's. "Master! We can't hesitate now. If we lose this seal, we'll lose our chance to compete for the throne! Anyway, there's no crown prince here today, so let's just kill them all!"
As he spoke, Wu Zhuo glared fiercely at Lan Linxue.
Lan Linxue, however, remained unfazed, maintaining her languid demeanor as she watched everything unfold before her, amusedly observing Lan Jiayuan's increasingly chilling expression.
But he slowly took Qin Kou'er's hand in his, as if afraid of startling her, and gently comforted her.
Lan Jiayuan slowly raised his head, staring at Lan Linxue, his killing intent emanating from him, his voice as cold as a knife: "Brother! Why don't you return the seal to me? Let's pretend this bet never happened, and we don't need to shed blood on the spot."

Even faster than Lan Jiayuan's men was another who drew his blade. His blade, like a venomous snake, pierced the heart of the man in front of him.
Pang Fei's knife pierced Wu Zhuo's back, through his heart, and cut him straight through.
Lan Jiayuan stared blankly as Pang Fei calmly withdrew his knife and gently placed it against his neck.
Pang Fei looked at Lan Jiayuan and smiled without a trace of apology, "Third Master! When I came to seek refuge with you back then, the Crown Prince asked me to give you my regards! I'm sorry, I forgot to say it all these years!"
