Chapter 51 It's not the theft itself that's scary, it's having someone's eye on you.

Jun Yannuo quickly helped Jiang Ming and Qin Kou'er up with one hand and apologized to Jiang Ming.

Jiang Ming was in a hurry to see Hu Tianyong and didn't care much about this matter. He nodded hastily and then quickly walked inside.

Qin Kou'er turned her head and exchanged a glance with Jun Yannuo, then walked towards an inconspicuous rockery in the inner courtyard.

Once inside the artificial hill, Qin Kou'er immediately took out the things she had just stolen from Jiang Ming.

Jun Yannuo glanced around cautiously and whispered, "Why are you in such a hurry to take it out? We can look at it when we get back!"

Qin Kou'er shook her head, "I feel something's wrong with it!"

As soon as the yellow cloth covering the top was removed, Qin Kou'er let out a sharp cry of surprise.

Jun Yannuo quickly turned around.

Jun Yannuo was stunned after just one glance.

Qin Kou'er held a piece of pure black jade in her hand, but it was carved with nine dragons. At the very top, a large dragon was lying on a thousand-year-old tortoise, roaring to the sky.

Qin Kou'er then turned the item over and carefully examined the words underneath.

"They can command gods and spirits, and none dare disobey them."

After Qin Kou'er finished reading a few words, she immediately stared wide-eyed at Jun Yannuo.

Jun Yannuo quickly walked over, took the seal and examined it carefully. After a long while, he looked up and exchanged a glance with Qin Kou'er.

"This is King Mei Wu's Ghost God Weapon Talisman! There's absolutely no mistake!"

Jun Yannuo looked at Qin Kou'er in surprise: "This thing has been lost for a long time, how did it appear here?"

Qin Kou'er felt cold sweat trickling down her back. She took the military tally and examined it carefully again.

“That’s right! It belongs to King Mei Wu. Look, there’s a slight bloodstain on one corner of this military tally. It’s said that his wife hit him on the head when they were arguing, and that’s where it was left. But how did this end up in Jiang Ming’s hands? It’s really strange!”

Jun Yannuo said nervously in a low voice, "Jiang Ming must have had other intentions in giving this to Hu Tianyong. What should we do now?"

Qin Kou'er stared at the object in her hand, her eyes darting around. After a long while, she finally wrapped up the Ghost God Talisman.

"This thing absolutely cannot fall into Hu Tianyong's hands. Legend has it that this Ghost God Talisman is extremely evil, and no one but King Mei Wu can touch it. We must take it from him!"

As she spoke, Qin Kou'er was about to put it into her sleeve.

Jun Yannuo immediately grabbed Qin Kou'er's hand, "Wait a minute!"

What are you doing?

Qin Kou'er raised her head and looked at Jun Yannuo with a puzzled expression.

Jun Yannuo looked at Qin Kou'er with a deep gaze and said, "Haven't you thought about making good use of this?"

Qin Kou'er looked at Jun Yannuo, thought for a moment, and then said, "You mean to expose this thing?"

Jun Yannuo's lips curled into a cold smile: "The Ghost God Military Talisman can command heavenly soldiers above and earthly ghosts below. Whoever controls it controls the world. Regardless of whether these claims are true or false, one thing is certain: this thing has never been something a subject can keep. Moreover, legend has it that this military talisman is the emperor's secret jade seal; seeing it is like seeing the emperor himself. Based on these two points alone, it's enough to accuse Hu Tianyong of treason. Shouldn't we make good use of it?"

Upon hearing this, Qin Kou'er immediately looked down at the military talisman in her hand, which emitted a faint glow in the darkness. She hesitated.

After thinking for a moment, Qin Kou'er raised her head and said to Jun Yannuo, "Find Lan Linxue for me right now! Quickly!"

Although Jun Yannuo disliked Lan Linxue, he understood Qin Kou'er's hesitation about this matter and knew he had to discuss it with Lan Linxue, otherwise things could get very serious.

Without saying a word, Jun Yannuo turned and walked towards the main hall.

Lan Linxue didn't know what Jun Yannuo was up to in such a mysterious way, but seeing his solemn expression, she left without saying a word and walked out unnoticed.

When Lan Linxue entered the artificial hill, she saw Qin Kou'er looking very nervous.

"What's wrong? What happened?"

Qin Kou'er shook her head slightly, telling Lan Linxue to be quiet, then took out the thing from her sleeve and carefully handed it to Lan Linxue.

Lan Linxue knew what it was at a glance.

Where did you get this?

Lan Linxue looked at Qin Kou'er with a solemn expression.

"Jiang Ming gave Hu Tianyong a birthday gift. What should we do now? Shuanghua and the others will be coming in soon. Should we put it out in the open so everyone can see what Hu Tianyong received?"

Lan Linxue thought for a moment, then suddenly smiled cruelly and looked at Qin Kou'er, saying in a low voice, "Such a good thing, of course we should make good use of it. We need to send it back. But not in the open; we need to send it to Hu Tianyong's secret room. When we search for that old bastard's evidence one day, we can catch him red-handed!"

"What if Hu Tianyong sees it and hides it?" Qin Kou'er was a little worried about this.

Lan Linxue smiled wickedly, "Hu Tianyong would be willing to throw away this treasure? I don't believe it! Even if he knew it was a hot potato, he wouldn't throw it away. Because the temptation of this thing is just too great."

As she spoke, Lan Linxue picked up the Ghost God Talisman again and examined it carefully: "Legend has it that a secret treasure is hidden inside, containing something that everyone in the world dreams of. Even for that, Hu Tianyong wouldn't be willing to throw it away. Don't worry!"

Qin Kou'er nodded, then took the military tally and wrapped it up again.

"Everything's alright here, you should go now. When Lao Qi and the others arrive, you'll need to be there to cheer them on!"
