Seeing that the situation was about right, Jun Yannuo slowly released Lan Xiuyuan from behind.
Lan Xiuyuan frowned and glanced at Jun Yannuo before quickly walking towards Lan Linxue.
Just then, three groups of fast horses suddenly galloped in from afar, rushing into the crowd like dragons in the clouds.
Three men in black descended from the sky like owls spreading their wings, pulling one of the assassins behind them.
"Let me go! Kill me!"
Hu Feifan, blinded by rage, began slashing and killing without caring who his opponent was.
However, just as his blade flashed into the man's eyes, he froze. Those eyes, like clear water reflecting the moon, were none other than Qin Kou'er's.
Qin Kou'er did not hesitate at all.
Her black robes were disheveled, and with a series of swift movements, she had already driven back all the surrounding guards. She dragged the still stunned Hu Feifan and bumped him into Lan Xiuyuan, quickly whispering, "Hu Feifan!"
Lan Xiuyuan heard it clearly. He was instantly stunned.
With just one glance, he confirmed that the eyes beneath the black veil belonged to Hu Feifan.
Lan Xiuyuan immediately looked at Qin Kou'er, but Qin Kou'er only smiled slightly at him with her clear eyes, then forcefully pulled Hu Feifan and said in a low voice, "Get up!"
However, at that very moment, a sharp blade of light descended from the sky.
Lan Linxue leaped into the air and slashed fiercely at Qin Kou'er with her sword.
No one else noticed the meeting between Hu Feifan and Lan Xiuyuan, but Lan Linxue saw it clearly.

Just as everyone gasped in surprise, Qin Kou'er let out a long howl, grabbed Hu Feifan, and soared into the air, disappearing into the night sky.
Even after the shadows in the darkness had completely disappeared, Lan Linxue had not recovered from her dazed state.
Figures moved about in front of him, and there was a cacophony of sounds. Shuanghua was shouting something in alarm and anger, Lan Xiuyuan was speaking to him nervously with a furrowed brow, and Jiang Ming was frantically directing the guards to search for the assassin. Figures were moving everywhere, and screams and cries were heard all around.

Lan Xiuyuan also frowned deeply, and his usually composed smile disappeared from his lips.
Everything happened so fast!
Hu Feifan plotted to assassinate the Crown Prince, yet Qin Kou'er rescued him! Even a blind person could see the obvious relationship between Qin Kou'er and Lan Linxue. Why did she save Hu Feifan while pushing Lan Linxue away? Everything is so perplexing and unexpected. And the key to it all lies with that woman he hadn't even noticed!
The imperial physician was brought in, but when he stared at Lan Linxue, he was so frightened that his hands were trembling. He babbled incoherently, saying that Lan Linxue was going crazy.
Frostflower was annoyed by what she heard, so she snatched the imperial physician's box, opened it, picked up a silver needle, and forcefully stabbed it into Lan Linxue's arm.
Her skin stung, and Lan Linxue reflexively looked at the frost.
Shuanghua felt a wave of relief when she saw Lan Linxue react.

After saying that, Lan Linxue strode away expressionlessly.

Like an enraged lion, Lan Linxue charged straight to Qin Kou'er's door, carrying with her aura of wind and thunder.
Perhaps influenced by Lan Linxue's anger, even the bright moon in the sky began to become hazy, and a wisp of dark cloud slowly drifted over.
Seeing Mo Hun guarding the door, Lan Linxue didn't stop at all and strode over.

By this time, Qin Kou'er had already returned, changed her clothes, and sat on the soft couch, quietly clasping her hands together, her back straight, calmly gazing ahead, as if waiting for a storm to arrive.
Lan Linxue went into the house, stood at the door, clenched her fists, and stared intently at the woman opposite her.
