Turning around, he grabbed Qin Kou'er's hand, pointed at Lan Xiuyuan inside, and whispered, "Did you see that? This is the true face of the charismatic Fifth Master you know. Don't be fooled by him in the future!"
Qin Kou'er followed Lan Linxue's finger and looked inside, only to find herself staring directly at Lan Xiuyuan inside.
Lan Xiuyuan's gaze was deep and distant, both ardent and tender. He lay on the bed with his long hair loose and his face pale, yet he exuded a deadly allure, like a celestial being punished in the heavens, so captivating that it was almost unbearable to look at him.
Qin Kou'er just quietly looked at Lan Xiuyuan. The two gazed at each other, neither able to guess what the other was thinking.
However, in that instant, Lan Linxue reached out and covered Qin Kou'er's eyes, then pushed her away from the doorway.
"Close your eyes quickly, or you'll develop a violent temper if you look at too much!"
Lan Linxue finally lowered her hand after pulling Qin Kou'er to the doorway.
From inside came Lan Xiuyuan's low growls, like those of a wild beast.
Lan Linxue glanced back, gave a wicked smile, and said softly, "Even if you're as cunning as a devil, you still have to drink someone else's foot bath water. You think taking the antidote will make you alright? Even if you only have one last chance, I'll still let you mess around."
"Has he taken the antidote?"
Upon hearing Lan Linxue's words, Qin Kou'er immediately asked, and after a moment's thought, she continued, "Was it given to him by that advisor?"

"You really want to see other men doing that? How filthy of you!"
As she spoke, Lan Linxue glared at Qin Kou'er with disdain, then pulled her closer to her with obvious concern.
"I'm telling you, from now on you'd better stop thinking about other men. You're not allowed to look at anything, understand?"
Qin Kou'er looked at Lan Linxue with a mix of amusement and exasperation: "You're the one who sent me here, and you're the one who won't let me see it. What exactly do you want, my sir?"

As she spoke, Lan Linxue, in a very good mood, gave Qin Kou'er a quick kiss on the cheek.

Qin Kou'er really wanted to strangle Lan Linxue. There was no one in the world as despicable as him.
Lan Xiuyuan lay quietly on the bed, feeling the antidote slowly taking effect in his body. A clear and unwavering thought formed in his mind: he would take Qin Kou'er away! He would snatch Qin Kou'er completely from Lan Linxue's side. He would make her experience a fate worse than death.

Without thinking, she grabbed Lan Linxue's sleeve and started walking outside.
"Hey, I haven't finished watching yet, don't go!" Lan Linxue stammered and pulled at Qin Kou'er.
"Go! Get out of here right now! If you don't leave, we'll both be making a fool of ourselves!"
"No! I have to keep an eye on them. What if Lan Xiuyuan ends up doing that girl's thing?" Lan Linxue's serious face was no different from a weasel's.
"Pooh!"
Qin Kou'er understood Lan Linxue's mentality very well; he wouldn't feel comfortable unless he saw Lan Xiuyuan die.
