As she spoke, Lan Linxue gave Jun Yannuo a sinister look and said angrily, "I've seen plenty of people like that!"

Qin Kou'er quickly stood up, took Lan Linxue's hand, and said softly with a smile, "Yan Nuo didn't mean it!"

Jun Yannuo looked up at Qin Kou'er again in pain, then at Lan Linxue behind her, before turning around and walking out angrily.
Qin Kou'er only let out a long sigh of relief after Jun Yannuo had disappeared from sight.
Turning around, she saw Lan Linxue staring at her menacingly, arms crossed, looking like she was about to devour her.
"Um, Yan Nuo didn't do it on purpose!" Qin Kou'er said, pointing in the direction where Jun Yan Nuo disappeared.
"I know!" Lan Linxue stared at Qin Kou'er with a cold expression. "All of you, get out!"
Immediately, everyone left, except for Shuanghua, who remained.
"You know?" Qin Kou'er looked at Lan Linxue with some surprise. "You know what?"
Lan Linxue didn't speak, but beckoned to Qin Kou'er with her finger.
Qin Kou'er walked over with a look of suspicion on her face.
Lan Linxue suddenly hooked Qin Kou'er's chin with her finger, lifted her face to face her, and said with narrowed eyes, "Tell me the truth, are you and Jun Yannuo up to something again?"
Qin Kou'er blinked and said obediently, "What's going on?"
"Qin Kou'er, do you think I'm stupid? I could understand if Jun Yannuo hadn't meant it at first. But that last sentence clearly showed he was deliberately trying to provoke me!
