"What's wrong? What happened?"
As Qin Kou'er dragged her along, Lan Linxue asked sullenly from behind, "We finally got out of here! Who's been holding me back? When I catch them, I'll skin them alive!"
"What are you muttering about?" Qin Kou'er turned around and snapped at him impatiently, "Yan Nuo would never use such secret codes unless it was an emergency! Get out of here right now!"
"Wait a minute!"
Lan Linxue slammed on the brakes and grabbed Qin Kou'er, "What did you say? Jun Yannuo's emergency signal?"
“Yes!” Qin Kou’er frowned, pointing anxiously at the red lantern. “This is Qin Tian Pavilion’s emergency signal. Everyone who sees this signal must find me immediately and have me return to headquarters. According to the agreement, we will never use this code unless it is an emergency. So, something must have happened to Yan Nuo to send this signal!”
Lan Linxue immediately shook her head, staring intently at Qin Kou'er as she asked, "Didn't Jun Yannuo go to Lan Xiuyuan's place? How could he possibly send a signal? Besides, even if the plan fails, he would never be in danger, so why would he send such a signal?"
Lan Linxue was full of questions and held Qin Kou'er tightly, refusing to let go.
"Something must have gone wrong, otherwise Yan Nuo wouldn't have sent it! As for what went wrong, we don't know yet! So, we must go back immediately!"
"Wait a minute!" Lan Linxue gripped Qin Kou'er's hand tightly. "I'm asking you, if something went wrong, how did Jun Yannuo send the signal?"

Qin Kou'er frowned and glared at her. "What do you know? Even the most dilapidated temple can have a Buddha statue. Anyway, this has always been the case for us. Stop asking questions and come back with me. If you don't leave, I'll leave on my own!"
