Chapter 25 Your Breathing Affects Me

"Aunt Si, are you alone at home?" Song Xixi looked around and asked.

Lin Lu: "Lin Jingbei is doing homework in his room."

Song Xixi couldn't sit still and said, "Then you guys go on with the questions. I'll go over and check on him."

After saying that, she slipped away, as if she was afraid that the two men would keep her and give her a lecture.

Song Jiajia took out the exercise book and turned to the part she didn't understand. "Aunt Si, I just can't figure out the answers to these few questions no matter how hard I try."

Lin Lu took it and looked at it for a few minutes. She hadn't been exposed to middle school knowledge for a long time, so her problem-solving speed was much slower, but it was not difficult to solve. She explained it clearly to Song Jiajia in a few words.

Song Jiajia had been thinking about the problem all night, and her fourth aunt understood it immediately, looking at her with starry eyes in admiration.

"Aunt Si, you are so smart. I wish our teacher could explain things like you. It would be so easy to understand."

Lin Lu: "The explanations in the textbook are very clear. The most important thing is to understand the basic concepts so that you can fully grasp the knowledge."

Soon to enter her senior year of high school, Song Jiajia was worried about her current knowledge reserves. "Aunt Si, can you teach me how you studied back then?"

"My method is to read more books, do more exercises, and then learn to summarize and master the routines for each type of questions."

Although Lin Lu is smart, she still works very hard. The only difference between her and others is that for the same amount of time, she may gain two or three times as much as others.

Song Jiajia has heard this kind of talk from her teacher several times, but it never works for her, otherwise she would not have passed her English exam until now.

Moreover, she has a serious imbalance in her academic performance. She is better at science questions, but she has a headache with liberal arts subjects such as Chinese, English, and politics.

"What about English? How can I learn it? I can't understand the nonsense that foreigners speak. It goes in my left ear, out my right without going through my brain."

Lin Lu gently comforted him, "Take your time, it's okay. I didn't understand it at all in high school either, but after listening more often I started to understand it. Also, the most important thing about English is vocabulary. If you know the words, you can solve most of the questions. You also need to understand grammar, which is related to the quality of your composition."

"But I just can't remember it. I didn't understand the grammar at all. What our teacher taught was like a mystery. It made me dizzy. Anyway, when I touch English, I feel like my brain is like a piece of wood." Song Jiajia was very distressed.

"If you need, I can give you a summary of the grammar types. Come over next week and I'll explain it to you."

Li Xianglian said that the Song brothers had taken good care of the family during the years she was in a coma, and Lin Lu was very grateful to them.

At this moment, Song Jiajia was even more grateful than her, hugging one of her arms, "Fourth Aunt, you are a beautiful and kind-hearted fairy. Hey, why am I not your and Fourth Uncle's child?"

Lin Lu said, "Everyone has their own specialties. I can't compare to your mother in many things."

"That's right, my mother still loves me very much." Song Jiajia felt guilty.

After explaining the question, Lin Lu told her that there were snacks under the TV cabinet and asked her to take some.

The bag of snacks mostly contained candies and biscuits, which Song Chen bought for her because he was worried that she would be bored sitting at home during the day.

Song Jiajia opened the drawer and took out a few candies, "Thank you, Fourth Aunt."

"Don't be polite with me. We are all family. You can eat whatever you want and do whatever you want."

Song Jiajia smiled and nodded.

She likes this Fourth Aunt so much.

Although she had never seen her before, she heard that Fourth Aunt was the only one in the village who passed the college entrance examination, so she thought Fourth Aunt was very amazing.

Moreover, I heard that she would send delicious food and clothes to her cousins every month, and they were so envious.

Later, after Fourth Aunt fell into a coma, she was taken back by Fourth Uncle. Song Jiajia came to see her several times and was always impressed by her beauty.

She seemed to be asleep, lying quietly in bed.

Song Jiajia is an extroverted child, and in just a moment she had told Lin Lu all the interesting things that happened in her class.

There was laughter in the living room, but Lin Jingbei in the room frowned.

Song Xixi walked back and forth behind him, very curious about some of the junk he had picked up.

Noticing Lin Jingbei's expression, he said in a mean way, "Why are you looking so downcast? If you can't write it, go out and ask Fourth Aunt. You won't be able to come up with the answer even if you scratch your head."

Lin Jingbei sneered at her with a sidelong glance, "You are affecting me."

Song Xixi retorted: "Stop slandering others. If you can't do it yourself, blame others. I didn't say anything, so how did it affect you?"

Lin Jingbei: "Your breathing affects me."

"Haha, then I won't bother you anymore. I'm going to play with Fourth Aunt." Song Xixi rushed out the door.

When he came to Lin Lu and the other man, he told them about Lin Jingbei's evil deeds with righteous indignation.

"Don't you think that boy is really abominable? He can't poop and blames the toilet for being bad."

Song Jiajia: "Is it not nice for you to say that you are a toilet?"

Song Xixi rolled her eyes at her sister and looked at Lin Lu with a pout. "You and Fourth Uncle are so close, but that brat Lin Jingbei doesn't look like your biological child at all. Could he have been picked up, or maybe he was taken away by mistake?"

Lin Lu laughed and replied, "Probably not. Lin Jingbei was born at home."

Song Xixi: "That's a genetic mutation."

Song Jiajia held her back and said, "Okay, it's almost time. If we're any later, there won't be any buses. Aunt Si, we'll leave first. See you next week."

"Let's eat first." Lin Lu said.

"We've already eaten, Fourth Aunt."

Lin Lu gestured: "Take the watermelon back to school and eat it."

"No need, Fourth Aunt, I bought this especially for you to eat."

Lin Lu knew how hard high school life was. "It's okay. We don't have to worry about food and drink at home. You don't have anything delicious at school either. Bring it over and we can eat together."

"No need. My mom gave us the money. We can just go buy some later. Fourth Aunt, we'll be leaving first." The two sisters held hands and ran away, leaving a big watermelon on the table.

Li Xianglian saw it as soon as she came back and asked, "You went out? Why did you buy a watermelon?"

"Jia Jia and Xi Xi bought it." Lin Lu replied.

"They were here before, why are they leaving? Why don't these two kids eat before going back?"

"They said if you're any later you won't be able to catch the bus."

"These two kids are really something. Where's Xiaobei? He hasn't come out yet."

"Yeah, I spent the whole morning doing homework in my room."

"This kid, isn't he afraid of learning stupidity?"

Li Xianglian picked some vegetables and pumpkins from the vegetable garden, put them in the kitchen, and started preparing lunch.
