I glared at her. It was all because of her, but now she was still smiling so happily.
He turned his head slightly and whispered, "I didn't sleep well."
Because he regretted it after he returned, but what was the use of regretting? He didn't dare to come over and apologize to her, and he was also a little embarrassed.
So it kept dragging on like this, but then I thought, what if she just stayed angry and didn't talk to him?
So I was so worried that I couldn't sleep all night. In the end, I didn't care about face anymore and immediately decided to come over and apologize to her.
Now, I feel a lot more relaxed.
Seeing him like this, Lin Qiaoxin felt a little curious, but she didn't ask and immediately stopped laughing.
Looking at his expressionless face, I asked, "Are you here to buy cakes?"
"I'll pack whatever you want."
Seeing her like this, Zhou Chaofa felt very uncomfortable and regretted even more that he had not been careful when speaking last time.
A trace of regret appeared on his face. "Are you still mad at me? Isn't it enough for me to apologize to you?"
"I did speak a little harshly that day, but it wasn't directed at you. I was being rude!"
He was jealous, so he acted like that, but he couldn't tell her this, otherwise he would never see her again in the future.
Lin Qiaoxin was very surprised by his apology. She thought she might come to apologize, but she didn't expect him to come so soon, and she didn't expect him to be so sincere.
I felt much better instantly.
Seeing him staring at the pebbles at his feet with his head down, as if he could stare out a flower, I felt like laughing.
He raised his hand to his mouth to cover up a cough, "It sounds nice, but who knows if you're just talking!"
Zhou Chaofa immediately raised his head and looked at her anxiously, "What do you mean? Do you think I'm not sincere?"
"Do you know how long you have been struggling with this apology?" I didn't expect that she was still unwilling to forgive me. For a moment, I felt very uncomfortable.
I couldn't help but mutter, "I've never apologized to anyone in my life. It's always been others who apologized to me!"
When Lin Qiaoxin heard him say that, her good mood was completely gone.
I kept telling myself not to bother with this kid, but for some reason I couldn't help but feel angry. I had never been so angry before.
She glared at him fiercely and sneered, "So I really wronged you. If that's the case, why are you still apologizing? Do you think you're sincere?"
It was totally unwilling.
After saying that, he turned around and went back into the house.
Zhou Chao was so angry looking at her back. He didn't blame her for being angry, but blamed himself for suddenly becoming so tongue-tied that he couldn't even say an apology.
He lowered his head and sighed helplessly.
After a while, Lin Qiaoxin came out of the room. Seeing him still standing at the door, she was a little puzzled and rolled her eyes at him, "Why are you still here?"
He quickly stood up straight and looked at her, pulling the corner of his mouth, "Don't you think I'm not sincere? I'll show you my sincerity."
"I'm sincerely apologizing to you. You're my best friend. There's no reason for me to want to make you angry, right?"
But Lin Qiaoxin ignored him and turned into the kitchen.
Zhou Chaofa watched and quickly followed.
Lin Qiaoxin ignored him and just focused on her own work.
Zhou Chaofa didn't say much, he just followed her and helped her with whatever she did.
Finally, Lin Qiaoxin had no choice but to turn around, frowning and looking at him helplessly, "Don't you have to go to class today?"
Today is Friday and the holiday is tomorrow, but he came here so early in the morning. Could he have skipped classes?
Zhou Chaofa smiled nonchalantly, "It's okay. I asked the teacher for sick leave because I felt I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't come and apologize."
"Can you please be so magnanimous as to forgive me?"
Although he was no longer angry, he still had a stern face and frowned as he said, "Then this is just skipping class. How can you skip class?"
"Your grandma would be very angry if she knew!"
In fact, he used to do this often, because he really wasn't interested in studying. He was always the same whether he studied or not. Grandma knew this, but she didn't scold him because he was still the same.
He raised his hand and touched the back of his head, "My grandma doesn't know."
"But if you don't forgive me, I'll just have to keep skipping classes."
She turned around and glared at him unhappily, "You make it sound like it's my responsibility that you skipped class. I didn't force you to do that."
"If you don't want to go, then don't go. Don't use me as an excuse."
He wanted to "force" her to forgive him, but that was wishful thinking. He just wanted to let her know that the consequences of her anger were serious.
"You clearly know that's not what I meant." Zhou Chaofa frowned tightly, thinking that this must be the most difficult thing he had ever encountered in his life.
I didn't expect that after saying so much, she just refused to forgive him. It was really difficult to deal with.
Of course, Lin Qiaoxin could guess what he was thinking, but she didn't care and continued to busy herself with the work at hand.
Seeing that she remained silent, Zhou Chaofa lowered his head dejectedly. Finally, he couldn't help but say, "I was really wrong. I won't dare to do it again. Be careful with your words, okay?"
"Why don't you tell me how to forgive me, and I'll do whatever you say."
Hearing that his words were indeed very sincere, I felt a little better, but I didn't show it on my face and continued to pretend not to care.
