Chapter 614: Closing Remarks

Chapter 614: Closing Remarks

I typed the first word of this novel on August 9 last year, and finished writing the last sequel on April 9 this year, a total of exactly eight months.

Mumu's first million-word novel is completed

To be honest, Mu Mu came up with the idea of writing a novel in October of the previous year. At that time, the protagonists of the novel he conceived were the parents of Gu Yanchuan, the male protagonist of "The Fake Daughter Who Got Rich by Studying".

The original setting is an old-fashioned, bloody and abusive story.

Gu Sinan's parents were killed by Su Man's father. Gu Sinan killed Su Man's father and bankrupted the Su family, but he fell in love with Su Man and imprisoned Su Man. Su Man felt soft-hearted after having a child, and Gu Sinan got jealous and aborted the child. Su Man was completely desperate and stabbed Gu Sinan to death before committing suicide.

Mumu wrote the outline and the first ten chapters, and told her sister about the plot. She said it was so twisted that she didn't want to read it at all.

At the strong suggestion of his sister, Mumu changed the male and female protagonists to Gu Yanchuan and Sheng Beibei.

Because of some things that delayed it for half a year, Mumu started writing the outline of "The Fake Daughter Became Rich by Studying" at the end of July last year, and officially started writing the main text on August 9.

The original plot setting was very simple, and at the time I thought it would be amazing to be able to write 200,000 words.

I have written more than one million words without realizing it. It’s incredible to think about it.

At the beginning, there were very few characters, and even some important characters were added when the outline was adjusted after the manuscript was reviewed, such as: Xie Ziyu, Xia Qiyun, He Wei, etc.

There are also some characters that were added during the writing process, such as: Yao Yao, Mr. Xiao, Ji Xiaoqi, Wen Jinran, several members of the Xia family, Su Cheng's best relatives, etc.

Chuanchuan’s pet Wangcai was also added temporarily, hehe.

Beibei’s pet, no, the system, Snowball’s original image was a ball, but later it was found inconvenient to describe its expressions and movements so it was changed to a hamster.

Fortunately, we changed to a little hamster. Snowball, the foodie and playful guy, is quite cute.

To be honest, Mumu’s positioning of “The Fake Daughter Got Rich By Studying” is a counterattack and a slap in the face…

Mumu also told her sister that she couldn't write romance stories, so she could only write face-slapping stories.

Who knew that it would turn into a sweet romance novel as I was writing?

In mid-October, Mumu received an overwhelming amount of negative reviews, saying that Beibei was too cowardly and that it was depressing to watch.

It was at that time that Mumu realized that what he had written was not a happy story.

Originally, Beibei's background was not revealed until he graduated from high school...

Faced with so many one-star bad reviews, Mumu had no choice but to quickly change the outline and move the story of recognizing relatives forward to the summer vacation after the end of the second year of high school.

It was not until Bei Bei returned to the Sheng family that Mu Mu focused on writing romance scenes. At first, I was so exhausted thinking about the details of how Beibei and Chuanchuan interacted that I felt like a head was spinning. But later on, the more I wrote, the smoother it became. I was so laughing that I cried.

Mumu might be more suitable for writing sweet and lovely stories about redemption and healing.

Ultimately, the novel is divided into several major chunks.

The bloody feud between the rich families in the second semester and the summer vacation of the second year of high school, the fresh and sweet daily life on campus in the first semester of the third year of high school, the slap in the face of the top-notch He Wei in the winter vacation, the filling of the holes in the second semester of the third year of high school, and the end of university.

Mumu discovered that the fate of many characters had changed drastically.

The first one is Mr. Xiao Erye.

Mumu never expected that the popularity of the character she casually added would surpass that of the male lead Gu Yanchuan at one point, and she covered her face.

I wanted to make him disabled and live out his life in loneliness, but in the end I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Following the advice of the little angels, Mumu asked Beibei to cure his leg and arranged a marriage for him with Wen Jinran, the official matchmaker, and they had a daughter, Nuannuan.

Next are Chuanchuan’s parents.

Chuanchuan's parents have no feelings for him. Su Man regards Chuanchuan as a shame, and Gu Sinan takes his anger out on Chuanchuan. And, in the end, Su Man and Gu Sinan will not get back together.

As a result, I wrote...

Maybe it was influenced by Mumu's own thoughts. Mumu always believed that parents would love their children instinctively.

The reason why Su Man and Gu Sinan were not allowed to reconcile was that they felt that the act of "violation" was unforgivable. Alas, I never expected that Su Man in my writing would fall in love with Gu Sinan.

If you want to dig into the reason, maybe Mumu couldn't help but feel sorry for Chuanchuan.

I want him to get his mother's love.

Then there is Chi Jiangmo.

Many little angels don't like brother Chi Jiangmo, saying that he is cowardly and useless.

Originally he had a lot of scenes, but since everyone didn't like it, they had to delete it.

I don’t know if the little angel has noticed, but actually... Chi Jiangmo’s feelings for Bei Bei are not just... a simple... brother-sister relationship [taking the blame to save his life].

The little angels hate this brother, and Mumu doesn't dare to write that he has any improper thoughts. Otherwise, this brother would be even more despised.

Perhaps, the secret feelings were revealed unintentionally...

The character that Mumu feels most sorry for should be Chi Mingchu.

As the original heroine of the novel, Mumu portrayed her as stupid and bad, and it seemed that there was no shining point in her. It was really a pity.

In the original outline, she was not the illegitimate daughter of Xia Shuyu and Butler Liu.

With just a flash of inspiration, Mumu gave her an ignominious life story.

Her ending should have been that something unspeakable happened between her and He Wei, and Mu Mu couldn't be so cruel to her.

Let her go abroad with her biological parents.

Perhaps, she will become an elite somewhere in the world. After all, she was originally an inspirational academic.

Among all the characters, Mumu feels the most sorry for Ji Youli.

Ji Youli was originally set up to be a child of destiny, the school idol, the academic genius, and the heir to a wealthy family. His father Ji Xiuci was not that perverted. He would not whip him. Instead, he treated him as his heir and trained him well.

Ahem, actually it’s our Chuan Chuan who should be whipped.

Mumu is Chuanchuan's biological mother, but Ji Youli's stepmother. She transferred Gu Sinan's perverted attributes to Ji Xiuci, which ultimately made Ji Youli suffer. Alas.

Speaking of Chuanchuan, his original setting was to be a beautiful, strong, miserable, paranoid, evil, and yandere character. He was not innocent and simple-minded, and he would not blush easily.

Beibei didn't realize his feelings for Chuanchuan until he graduated from high school, and Chuanchuan almost imprisoned Beibei.

After writing more than 100,000 words, Mumu felt that according to Beibei's gentle and tenacious character, it would be more suitable for them to run towards each other and redeem each other.

Chuan Chuan's original paranoid yandere attribute has not been lost, but it is not as serious.

No matter what, as Beibei and Chuanchuan’s biological mother, Mumu sincerely hopes that they can be together happily and for a long time in the world of novels.

As this was the first time that Mumu wrote a novel, he admitted that there were many shortcomings and many mistakes.

I am very touched that so many little angels read to the end.

Mumu still remembers the surprise he felt when he first saw a long review.

Over the past eight months, Mumu’s favorite thing to do every day is to open the backstage and read the book reviews written by the little angels.

Grateful to have met you.

I hope Mumu’s next novel will be able to improve and live up to everyone’s expectations.

Once again, I would like to thank all the little angels for their support and companionship along the way. From now on, "The Fake Daughter Became Rich by Studying" has officially ended.

I sincerely hope that we can all become better.

Mumu loves you guys
