Ou Yi took a deep breath, then stood up from her squatting position, clenching her fists.
"That's right, keep it up, Ou Yiyi!" She started cheering herself on.
There's no time like the present, so the two discussed it and decided to take action that very night.
Filming went smoothly today, and we finished work around 4 PM.
"Qingzhi!" Suddenly, Han Lan's voice came from behind.
The two stopped and turned around. Ou Yi instinctively stepped in front of Bai Qingzhi.
Han Lan's eyes flickered, but returned to normal in the blink of an eye, as if she hadn't noticed.
"Qingzhi, are you free tonight? I'd like to treat you to dinner." Han Lan said with an impeccable smile.
"I have plans tonight, sorry!" Bai Qingzhi replied with a polite smile.
Han Lan stepped forward and reached out to grab Bai Qingzhi, but Ou Yiyi stopped him in time.
Han Lan's expression froze, and the smile on her lips cracked slightly.
"Alright, let's reschedule for another day." Han Lan smiled and then took a step back.
Bai Qingzhi nodded, took Ou Yiyi's hand, and turned to leave.
Watching the two figures disappear, Han Lan's smile slowly vanished, and finally her entire face seemed to be covered with a layer of frost.
"Qingzhi, do you feel like a hole is going to appear in your back?" Ou Yiyi whispered.
“I’m used to it,” Bai Qingzhi replied with a shrug.
She felt that Han Lan's gaze was much better now than when she was with Xiao Yuan. Although it was still intense, at least she didn't feel like she was about to be devoured.
Ou Yiyi glanced at Han Lan discreetly, then continued to ask in a low voice:
"Is something wrong with her here?" she said, pointing to her own head.
"Who's out of their mind?" A woman's voice suddenly came from ahead, startling the two of them.
Ou Yiyi almost jumped up.
He was a staff member with whom I usually had a fairly good relationship.
They smiled and brushed it off, stood together and talked for a while, then made an excuse to leave the set completely.
After listening to Bai Qingzhi's advice, Ou Yiyi decided to stop contacting Bai Qingze from today onwards, wanting to see what he would do.

But before she could fall asleep, her phone rang again.
Frustrated, Bai Qingzhi grabbed the blanket and angrily picked up her phone to see who was disturbing her sleep.
Bai Qingze.
Without even thinking, you know why.
Bai Qingzhi took a deep breath to suppress the irritation in her heart, but her tone remained neutral when she answered the call.
"That Qingzhi..." Bai Qingze stammered.
"You want to ask about Yi Yi, right?" Bai Qingzhi interrupted him and asked proactively.
Bai Qingze chuckled awkwardly twice, but before he could answer, Bai Qingzhi continued:
"Today I introduced Yi Yi to a new male friend, and they got along quite well."
Since her second brother won't let her get a good night's sleep, then her second brother shouldn't expect to get any sleep either.
