"President Qi, should we continue?" the subordinate asked Xiao Qiangwei in a low voice.
Qi Shang nodded, but seemed somewhat distracted as he listened to the report that followed.
Xiao Qiangwei sat on the sofa, her expression remaining calm throughout.
Soon, Qi Shang felt he couldn't listen anymore and waved his hand, interrupting his subordinate.
The subordinate respectfully withdrew, and seeing that the office was empty, Xiao Qiangwei stood up abruptly.
"Qi Shang, what does your niece mean? Is she treating me like a fool?" Xiao Qiangwei pointed at the other party's nose and questioned loudly.
Qi Shang was unaware of what had happened. Ever since his cousin asked him to get Han Lan into Zhiyuan Company, he had been making excuses to delay it.
"What exactly happened?" Qi Shang, dressed in a white suit, stood up and walked closer.
Seeing that Xiao Qiangwei was really angry, he personally brought her a glass of water.
"At your age, try not to get angry; it's bad for your health," Qi Shang said nonchalantly.
Xiao Qiangwei drank some water to calm herself down, glared at Qi Shang, and then sat down again to explain the whole story.
"Using me and targeting my niece-in-law, Han Lan is really clever," Xiao Qiangwei said with a sneer.
"I will make sure her parents educate her properly."
After finishing his sentence, Qi Shang walked to his desk and seemed to hesitate for a moment before opening the drawer.
“These are a pair of earrings that my sister had made by a royal artisan. She thought they weren’t suitable for me, so she gave them to me. I don’t need them, so you can wear them.”
Qi Shang said this somewhat awkwardly.
