Chapter 232 What a blessing!

So when Han's father received the video and saw Han Lan's actions, he was almost furious.

This is just a series of different ways to embarrass oneself!

But they couldn't get through to Han Lan by phone, so Han's father could only keep sending her messages asking her to send it back immediately.

Meanwhile, Han Lan had already turned off her phone and was hiding in her rented apartment, gazing intently at the little hamster that Xiao Yuan had carved.

"Do you think this hamster looks a bit like me?" Han Lan asked her assistant, holding the hamster close to her face.

The moment the assistant saw the wooden hamster, he felt that its expression resembled Miss Bai. After learning where it came from, he was even more certain that it must have been carved by President Xiao for his girlfriend.

But since Han Lan asked her that, she didn't dare say it didn't seem like it, and could only nod in agreement against her will.

Han Lan held the wooden hamster with obvious delight, then took out another phone and started taking pictures.

Finally, he dialed the number he knew by heart.

"I've obtained something with Xiao Yuan's blood on it," Han Lan said, looking at the dark red spots on the wooden hamster.

After hearing something from the other end, Han Lan stood up and said with a smile that he would be there soon.

As the assistant observed her demeanor, a plan kept running through his mind.

While Han Lan was out, the assistant packed his things, took a few bills from Han Lan's bag, and promptly booked a ticket to run away.

Just kidding, Han Lan is getting weirder and weirder to her. She's been in the entertainment industry for so long and she's heard and seen all sorts of unscientific things. If she stays any longer, she's afraid she might not even survive.

When Han Lan arrived at the agreed-upon location by taxi, she was somewhat surprised.

I thought that the place where a metaphysical master like him lived would either be antique or have a gloomy atmosphere, but I didn't expect it to be full of high-tech electronic products.

Besides that, it's full of trendy things for young women.

After a few minutes, a woman came out of the bedroom, barefoot.

Han Lan looked up along the calf and when she saw the face, she showed a surprised expression.

"It was you!?"

She already knew the other person was a woman, but she never expected it to be her.

The woman smiled brightly, pleased with the other's surprise. Without responding, she took the wooden hamster from Han Lan and smelled the faint scent of blood on it.

"Are you sure you want to do this? Once you do, Xiao Yuan's health might not be very good in the future." The woman sat on the sofa with her legs crossed and asked with a smile.

Han Lan answered without hesitation:

“It’s okay. I’ll take care of him and love him, since he’s not in good health.”

The woman laughed even harder.

"I'm so lucky to be loved by you," she muttered to herself, then stood up to look for something.

"And the blood of Bai Qingzhi that I gave you last time, I want her to die quickly! The sooner the better!" Han Lan was already insane at this point, his eyes wide open and his teeth clenched as he spoke.

The woman glanced at her and then turned back to her own work.

"I don't know how much sorrow and resentment he has. I think Bai Qingzhi is quite good." The woman said with her back to her.

Han Lan immediately became displeased upon hearing this, and her brows furrowed.

"Indeed, love is something no one should touch." The woman shook her head and handed the wooden hamster back to Han Lan.

However, this time the wooden hamster did not have any light on it.

"You can send it back now," the woman said, indicating that everything was done.

Although Han Lan was extremely reluctant, she knew that this matter could not be resolved by remaining silent.

Upon turning on the computer, Han Lan indeed saw many messages from her father, ranging from initial insults to final threats. Han Lan simply smiled indifferently.

I took a taxi to Xiao Yuan's company and asked the receptionist to hand it over before they closed for the day.

The spell hasn't taken effect yet, so it's not appropriate for her to show herself for the time being.

When Xiao Yuan received the news, he instinctively felt that something was wrong. Why would Han Lan return something she had deliberately stolen so readily?

He could understand that Han Lan wanted to reminisce about the past by looking at the object, but if that was the case, it would be even less likely to get it back easily.

Moreover, she had specifically turned off her phone.

He immediately ordered his subordinates to deliver the items to the Bai family. By then it was already dark, and the Bai family had finished dinner, with everyone sitting on the sofa chatting.

Xiao Yuan gave Bai Qinghuai only one look, and Bai Qinghuai immediately understood.

Bai Qinghuai casually made up an excuse to call Xiao Yuan to the study. Xiao Yuan briefly explained the situation, and Bai Qinghuai smiled and said that the other party was probably overthinking it.

Not long after, his subordinate brought the item over. Xiao Yuan didn't pick it up directly, but instead shone a light on it and frowned, saying something was wrong.

He had carved this wooden hamster himself, based on the childlike expression, and it took him half a month to complete. He remembered almost every single cut.

Not to mention that he personally cleaned and waxed it in the end.

He was certain that the hamster was indeed the same one, but all the shine had disappeared.

In the past, Bai Qinghuai would never have believed Xiao Yuan's mystical talk, but after Qi Xiaoxiao shared some news with him a few days ago, he now had no choice but to believe it.

Sometimes science cannot explain everything.

"My second brother has a master in this field. I'll ask him to talk to me later and see if we can invite him over." Bai Qinghuai also became serious.

He only really cared about Xiao Yuan; he didn't want his sister to be implicated because of Xiao Yuan.

Without hesitation, Bai Qingze summoned his master, Xiao Yuan, while they waited. During this time, Xiao Yuan played with Bai Qingzhi in the garden for a while.

Around 10 PM, Bai Qingzhi went upstairs to sleep, and Xiao Yuan and the other men returned to their study.

Lou Xiaoxiao arrived at the Bai family's residence at eleven o'clock. Having already saved the Xiao brothers from the curse, her status had risen rapidly.

Bai Qingze, in particular, directly recognized the other party as his master, regardless of whether Lou Xiaoxiao agreed or not.

"Master, could you please take a look at this? Will it affect my sister?" Bai Qingze had also considered this possibility and asked directly.

Bai Qinghuai glanced at his second brother with approval in his eyes. This fool had finally shown some intelligence for once.

"Don't call me master, I don't have a disciple as stupid as you!" Lou Xiaoxiao said with obvious disdain.

Seeing how hard Bai Qingze was trying, she did consider teaching him, but after more than a week, he still couldn't remember even the simplest incantation, so Lou Xiaoxiao decisively abandoned her initial idea.

But Bai Qingze, that shameless fellow, still called him "Master" even after he had refused him eighty times.

"Master, I will definitely study hard, so can we take a look at this first?" Bai Qingze asked with a fawning smile.

Lou Xiaoxiao glared at him and then picked up the wooden hamster from the table.

"It's quite cute." Lou Xiaoxiao raised the wooden hamster to eye level and then looked into the eyes of the little hamster.

Then, the smile on his face gradually disappeared.

The group immediately realized that there was something wrong with the wooden hamster.
