Chapter 116 Trapped in a White Consciousness

He even stood up directly from the chair.

"Where did you come from?" Bai Qinghuan asked in surprise.

"I know you've been having trouble getting through a firewall lately, so I just gave it a quick try, and I was lucky enough to get through right away," Mo Yunze said casually.

But no one present believed it.

Gu Ting had to re-examine this man named Mo Yunze, and then, thinking about the code name M that suddenly appeared online, he felt that he had found M's true identity.

"Keep pretending!" Mo Yuze muttered under his breath.

Bai Qinghuan looked at the crumpled paper and her face lit up with surprise. Even her gaze towards Mo Yunze became more enthusiastic.

Gu Ting frowned and looked directly at his rival.

The studio was noisy, and Bai Qingzhi asked everyone to take their seats.

If Bai Qinghuan doesn't leave, Gu Ting and Mo Yunze will stay. After seeing his beloved being pursued by someone else, Gu Ting immediately declared that he would stay by Bai Qinghuan's side every step of the way.

Bai Qingze's face was as black as the bottom of a pot. Looking at these pigs who were eyeing his little cabbage, he wished he could just beat them all out.

Just then, Xiao Yuan arrived.

Bai Qingze's face darkened even more.

Wenrou stood quietly to the side, watching, her eyes occasionally glancing at Bai Qingze.

Bai Qinghuan finally left half an hour later. Gu Ting followed without hesitation. Mo Yunze wanted to go too, but his sister held him back.

Helplessly watching the two figures disappear into the distance, Mo Yunze glared at his sister with a bitter expression.

The studio finally quieted down, and just as Bai Qingze was fuming, Xiao Yuan's phone rang.

Xiao Yangjing is in trouble.

He fell into a coma for no apparent reason, and his vital signs gradually declined. Even after a thorough examination, nothing was found.

When Bai Qingzhi and the others arrived, they saw Xiao Yangjing in the ward with a pale face and weak breathing.

Professors and experts from all over the country gathered for a meeting, but without exception, none of them had ever seen anything like this.

There is nothing wrong with the body, but the person cannot wake up. There is no injury or stimulation; the illness only occurs while sleeping.

The doctor estimated that if the cause of the illness could not be found, Xiao Yangjing might not survive more than three days.

Hearing these unbelievable words, a possibility suddenly flashed through Bai Qingzhi's mind.

He pulled Xiao Yuan aside and then spoke in a low voice:

"Is it possible... that's the reason?"

Xiao Yuan was initially puzzled, but he quickly realized what was going on.

Xiao Yuan's brows furrowed as he began to think seriously.

He has been targeted countless times since childhood, and has naturally come into contact with some strange things, but the effects of these attacks on him are not obvious.

But since there was a possibility, he couldn't remain indifferent, so Xiao Yuan immediately sent someone to invite the abbot of Lingyin Temple.

Xiao's parents stayed there all night. Xiao Yuan persuaded them to leave, and then the abbot arrived just before dawn.

After glancing at the ward, the abbot's expression changed drastically, and he hurriedly left after only saying "Please accept my condolences."

With red eyes, Xiao Yuan sat blankly in front of his younger brother's hospital bed, frantically searching his mind.

The abbot's reaction confirmed his suspicions, but it was simply something he couldn't solve. There were so many capable people in the world; he didn't believe he couldn't find someone who could save Xiao Yangjing.

Overnight, Xiao Yuan dispatched all his men to issue missing person notices in various countries.

Bai Qingzhi also stayed up all night, and Xiao Yuan held her and let her rest for a while.

Bai Qingzhi felt sorry for Xiao Yuan when she saw his appearance, and took his hand, asking him to come along.

Xiao Yangjing's room is a private ward, a suite, with a companion bed outside in addition to his own bed.

Holding Bai Qingzhi in his arms, this was the first time Xiao Yuan had ever been free of any romantic thoughts.

Unconsciously, he drifted into sleep, only to find himself in a vast expanse of white, with no way out.

Every step you take creates an echo, and the entire area is eerily empty.

After walking alone for an unknown amount of time, Xiao Yuan suddenly noticed a little boy squatting in front of him. He quickly walked closer and realized that it was Xiao Yangjing!

However, it was him when he was six years old.

It was obvious that Xiao Yangjing couldn't see him. After squatting for a while, Xiao Yangjing started wailing and ran around.

"Where am I? I want to go home! Brother, come and save me!" Xiao Yangjing's cries were heart-wrenching.

Xiao Yuan stepped forward to hug his younger brother, but his body passed right through him.

Thus, Xiao Yuan could only follow behind Xiao Yangjing and watch him struggle.

Bai Qingzhi opened her eyes after sleeping for a while. It was already bright outside. Looking at Xiao Yuan, who was still sleeping behind her, Bai Qingzhi stepped out of his arms.

Bai Qingzhi had some food prepared and waited quietly for Xiao Yuan to wake up.

Xiao Yangjing's condition was still acceptable at this time. Although his vital signs continued to decline, they were within a controllable range.

The two fell asleep close to dawn, and before they knew it, it was dark, but Xiao Yuan still showed no signs of waking up.

The food Bai Qingzhi had prepared had gone cold, and her heart began to race.

She walked over and called softly, but Xiao Yuan did not respond.

It's exactly the same situation as Xiao Yangjing's!

She hurriedly called for a doctor, and then Bai Qingzhi grabbed Xiao Yuan's hand and shouted his name loudly.

Even inside the white mist, Xiao Yuan realized something was wrong. Even without a clock, he knew he had been there for far too long.

Xiao Yangjing was still running, and Xiao Yuan followed him in searching for an exit, but there was nothing but a vast expanse of white.

Suddenly, a voice seemed to call out from afar. Xiao Yuan couldn't hear it clearly, but he instinctively followed it.

I don't know how long we walked, but the sound gradually grew louder.

Finally, Xiao Yuan recognized the voice – it was a child's voice!

Following the sound forward, Xiao Yuan finally saw a ray of sunlight appear ahead.
