Yan Hanxi poured her a small half-glass of wine and personally brought it over. The distance between the two of them quietly shrank to only one arm's length.
He Jing was completely unaware.
Whether it was from drinking alcohol or soaking for too long, her cheeks were flushed.
He Jing was certainly not drunk; her alcohol tolerance had always been quite good, both before and after she transmigrated. She turned her head, just about to ask Yan Hanxi what year the wine was, since it tasted quite good, when she saw the young man's long, beautiful phoenix eyes staring at her intently. His deep, burning gaze made her feel as if she were chocolate melting instantly upon contact with high temperatures.
Clear, pure, and devoid of any desire—
A loving gaze.
A boy is a boy after all; his gaze was shockingly blunt.
He Jing was slightly taken aback when she heard the boy ask in a low voice, "Sister, may I drink the wine in your glass?"
Clearly a deception!
He Jing suddenly felt as if she was holding a hot potato, not a glass of wine. Her heart pounded, and she almost dropped the glass. Her voice rose involuntarily: "No way!"
Undeterred, the young man stepped forward a little further and offered his wine glass to He Jing: "Would you like to try some of my wine, sister?"
He Jing's cheeks were as red as boiled shrimp. "What a joke! It's the same wine!"
However, as she was gazed at by the boy's expectant and smiling eyes, she couldn't bring herself to say "no." She stared at the wine glass filled with purplish-red liquid in front of her and bit her lip.
The boy spoke slowly and deliberately, emphasizing each word, "If you still don't want it, then I'll kiss you!"
He Jing was instantly embarrassed and annoyed. She raised her beautiful eyes and glared at Yan Hanxi: "We each have a drink, why do you insist that I drink yours?"
Yan Hanxi swirled the wine glass, and the purplish-red liquid swayed within, elegant, enchanting, and rippling.
He smiled, gently lowered his head to take a sip of the wine in his glass, then gazed at her with tender eyes and said, "I just feel that anything related to you must be especially sweet."
He Jing's already flushed cheeks turned even redder. Here it comes again... Will he die if he doesn't create ambiguity?
Yan Hanxi's gaze shifted downwards, landing on He Jing's full, bright red lips, and he said, "Sister, is this still your first kiss?"
Having her identity as a single mother exposed, He Jing suddenly seemed to have a nerve touched. Her nervousness and shyness vanished instantly. She took the wine glass from Yan Hanxi's hand and drank it all in one gulp. After finishing the wine, she placed the glass on the shore, licked her lips lazily and seductively like a cat, and said with a charming and alluring tone, "So what if it was my first kiss?"
She rolled over, pinning Yan Hanxi against the edge of the pool, turned her face to the side, hooked his chin with a finger, and said in a flirtatious tone, "Little brother, want to kiss your big sister?"
Yan Hanxi was stunned for a moment, then replied sweetly and obediently, "Yes."
He remained calm despite being pinned down by He Jing, slowly lowering his gaze to her jade-like neck and collarbone, glistening with water droplets. Her bathrobe had a V-neck, so although no explicit glimpses of her skin were visible, the water droplets hanging down inside were enough to spark the imagination.
He Jing snorted and lowered her hand, saying arrogantly, "You're not worthy to kiss me."
Yan Hanxi raised her eyes again, her expression gentle and harmless: "Then what would be a good match?"
He Jing choked and couldn't answer.
Yan Hanxi suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist, turned her over, and switched positions with her. He held He Jing in his arms, smiling calmly.
