Chapter 51 I am your father

The farce didn't completely end until the school bell rang.

It took He Jing a while to calm down.

This is absolutely terrifying; Shen Qiuyu's character is just too much...

A tall, handsome boy sat beside her, not paying attention to the lesson. He turned his head to the side, his eyelashes thick and long, and asked with a smile, "Good student, you've plucked one of my peach blossoms, how are you going to make it up to me?"

He Jing stared at the blackboard taking notes, not looking up, and said, "If you speak again, deduct 10 points."

Yan Hanxi raised an eyebrow and, as expected, stopped talking. But then she tore up the homework, wrote a note, and handed it to her.

He Jing looked down and saw that it read: Not a single point deducted, is there a reward?

He Jing was speechless. Did he think she, the class monitor, was Santa Claus, even giving her rewards...?

But in order to keep Yan Hanxi quiet, she still replied with one word: Yes.

Yan Hanxi asked again: What is it?

He Jing replied: One father.

When Yan Hanxi received the note, he raised an eyebrow and turned his eyes. He saw He Jing's expressionless face with the words "I am your father" written in large characters. He was immediately at a loss for words.

After class, He Jing was called to the office by her homeroom teacher, where she saw her older brother, He Yuan.

To everyone's surprise, He Yuan would come to the school in person for such a trivial matter. He was wearing a white shirt and black jeans, with mature and sharp features, handsome and charming, and his overall demeanor was very composed.

He Jing's face lit up with a smile when she saw him, and she happily called out "Big Brother." He Yuan's expression relaxed, and he quickly stepped forward, saying gently, "I'm sorry, you've been wronged because of my lack of concern."

He Jing shook her head, looking at his slightly tanned skin, and said with heartache, "No, it must be very tiring for you to study and work at the same time. You didn't need to come all the way here."

Seeing how sensible He Jing was, the homeroom teacher nodded with satisfaction: "He Jing has excellent academic performance and is also a very good person. Please rest assured, He Jing's parents, Yin Gao has the best teaching quality. If any disputes arise between students, they will be dealt with fairly and without favoritism towards any side."

He Yuan sincerely thanked her: "Jingjing is really grateful for your care, teacher."

Just now, he had learned everything that had happened between He Jing and Cheng Yi.

He didn't understand the conflicts between girls, so he just treated them as ordinary frictions between girls. But he knew clearly that He Jing hadn't bullied Cheng Yi at school, nor had she done anything wrong. Things weren't as He Sui said at all.

Although I don't understand why the Cheng family called to accuse He Jing, I know that He Sui and He Ning wronged He Jing, and that's the whole truth.

Thinking about how He Sui had been nagging about kicking He Jing out of the He family yesterday, He Yuan felt a headache coming on. He Sui's impulsive and unpredictable behavior had been going on for a while, and this time he had really gone too far. So he turned his head and said in a low voice, "I'll pick you up after school today."

This gesture clearly shows they're going to support He Jing.

He Jing smiled slightly, her red lips curving into a smile: "Okay."

He Yuan patted her head again, then said nothing more and told her to go back to class.

He Jing remembered that he spent 18 out of 24 hours a day studying and working, which might have caused him to have low blood sugar. She took out some fruit candy and put it in his hand, saying, "Big brother, don't work too hard. Remember to rest."

He Yuan looked down at the fruit hard candy in his palm, feeling a warmth in his heart. When he looked up, He Jing had already disappeared from the office.

As promised, He Yuan came to pick up He Jing personally after school that day.
