After the exam ended, He Jing handed in her paper, still engrossed in that particular question.
She didn't look up until Yan Hanxi patted her shoulder, and then they both spoke at the same time:
"Before going to the nursery to take care of the babies, we went to the maternity and baby store to pick out toys for them."
"For the last multiple-choice question, did you choose A or B?"
He Jing: "..."
Yan Hanxi: "..."
Good grief, it turns out her mind wasn't on him at all.
However, Yan Hanxi still smiled and said, "I chose B."
