"Don't even think about it!"
He can have all sorts of wild ideas even with a small baby bottle!
Yan Hanxi hadn't thought much about it at first, but he had conjured up a warm picture in his mind: He Jing was holding their daughter in one arm and feeding her with a small bottle, and then he quickly kissed He Jing on the cheek when she wasn't paying attention.
Seeing He Jing's shy and angry expression, his mind suddenly went blank. Perhaps... when kissing her, he could pretend to accidentally touch her breasts?
Then, his gaze involuntarily fell on He Jing's chest.
And then...
That was the end of it.
He Jing smacked Yan Hanxi on the head and stomped on his foot before quickening her pace and leaving.
Yan Hanxi clutched his head in pain and called out from behind her, "Fine, I won't touch you anymore!"
He Jing ignored him, her whole being like a balloon about to burst.
Touch... touch what?
He can't even touch him!
...
After buying the things she needed to take to the childcare center, He Jing unilaterally declared that her relationship with Yan Hanxi was over and went home alone.
He Yi hadn't returned yet, but He Chen was there. He was sitting on the sofa, using He Sui's computer, typing something.
As He Jing walked up to him, He Chen looked up and smiled, "He Jing, you're out of school. I've been waiting for you."
He Jing calmed her flustered emotions and put on a bright smile: "Oh? What are you waiting for me for, Sixth Brother?"
He Chen turned the computer to one side and said, "I've made some changes to the plot."
The blank screen was neatly filled with rows of text, each line ending perfectly, making it extremely pleasing to the eye.
He Jing felt that He Chen might have some obsessive-compulsive disorder. For example, he would rhyme every few paragraphs, making it very easy to read. He would also mark the modified paragraphs with red underlines, and the original text that was modified would be below it, in parentheses.
He Jing doesn't have that habit. She only inserts comments into the document and puts all the modifications in the comments. She doesn't deliberately format the document to make it look very neat.
"I felt this story was a bit too cliché, so I made significant changes to some of the more conventional settings. For example, instead of the female lead being a Dragon Ball, I thought it would be better to create a real Dragon Ball. I just talked to my editor about it, and she said the changes were good. If it sells well, we can even write a second part..."
He Jing countered, "Did Sixth Brother originally plan to make a second part?"
He Chen: "I hadn't thought about it."
He Jing: "Then we won't write a second part."
The original story didn't mention any sequel to He Chen's debut work. It became a classic on its own, so there was no need for He Chen to force a sequel just to make money.
He Chen agreed: "Then let's not consider this for now."
Both of them put aside the issue of a sequel and focused their attention back on the plot.
The idea of the female lead being a Dragon Ball is indeed rather cliché. He Jing thought for a moment and joked, "How about changing the female lead to a Dragon Ball manufacturer?"
Ah, this...
This is indeed remarkable, but it's difficult to incorporate into the story, as this concept contradicts the entire book.
He Chen fell into deep thought, his eyes fixed intently on him.
Upon seeing this, He Jing quickly waved her hand: "I was just talking nonsense. I don't understand literary creation. Sixth Brother can just revise it based on his intuition."
Fortunately, He Chen did not show any intention to comply with her wishes, but simply smiled and said, "Then I'll think about it some more."
He Jing nodded and asked, "Where's Fifth Brother? Why didn't he come back with Sixth Brother today?"
