Chapter 560 What should we do then?

He Yi became more and more dejected. He leaned against the wall next to He Jing's door and looked at the painting in his hand. His work, which he was originally very satisfied with, had become dull and lifeless.

He thought that if he could be of some use, whether it was He Sui or He Ning, he would definitely make He Jing happy.

He turned his head and stared at He Jing's door, his whole body shrouded in a layer of melancholy.

When He Sui returned, this was the scene that startled him. His right eyelid twitched incessantly. Holding the handmade pottery jar his classmate had given him, he asked, "What happened?"

They were all sitting or standing like they had lost their wives. The He family hadn't been this depressed since they couldn't afford the tuition and discussed having Cheng Yi drop out of school.

Where is Jing?

He Zhou sneered sarcastically, "Having so much fun, do you still remember He Jing?"

He Sui was completely bewildered. He scratched his head, wondering why he couldn't remember He Jing when he hadn't done anything. He had finally come back a day early; was it easy for him?

If his classmate hadn't insisted on making him a handmade gift for his girlfriend and offered to take him to a craft shop for free, he wouldn't have ended up like this...

Oh no!

It seems like he hasn't looked at his phone all day.

He Sui took out his precious phone and saw that He Jing had sent him a message.

The time was three hours ago.

He Sui jumped up with a "whoosh".

He rushed to He Jing's room and pounded on the door: "He Jing, I didn't mean to, I really didn't see it!"

There was no sound from inside the room.

He Zhou said coolly, "Stop taking pictures."

He Sui was already flustered, and when he heard He Zhou say something unpleasant, he immediately retorted, "I'm going to film it. He Jing is unhappy, so why are you sitting on the sofa?"

"Should I jump off the balcony instead of sitting down?" He Zhou retorted. "He Jing might be crying right now, and if you hit her, she'll just cry even harder."

He Sui's tongue stammered, and he was as anxious as an ant on a hot pan: "Then... what should we do?"

He Chen couldn't bear to see He Sui so anxious, so he asked as a reminder, "Besides not replying to He Jing's messages, have you done anything else?"

"No!" He Sui felt utterly wronged. "I like her so much, how could I possibly bully her?"

It's all that classmate's fault for dragging him to do crafts. He's giving his girlfriend a gift, and he still has to find someone to feed him dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection). Tomorrow, he'll go to school and beat him up.

His girlfriend was happy, but his sister was not!

He Chen further hinted, "I don't think He Jing is the kind of person who is petty. Fourth Brother, there's no need to be so anxious. Perhaps it's just a small matter, and it will be over soon."

He Sui felt a little comforted, then his face turned fierce: "Who messed with Jing!"

He Zhou and He Chen exchanged a glance, seeing the answer in each other's eyes. The matter was already quite obvious; was there anything else they didn't understand?

Judging from their reactions upon returning home, the only person who upset He Jing was He Ning, who hadn't returned yet. Clearly, He Ning, though seemingly aloof, cared deeply for He Jing and wouldn't directly provoke her. Therefore, the only one who could cause He Jing's unhappiness was Cheng Yi.

He Chen smiled and looked at He Zhou: "As Third Brother wishes."

He Jing finally got jealous.

He Zhou's expression was extremely gloomy: "Heh, what does that have to do with me?"

It's not like I'm jealous of him.

He thought he was being sarcastic.

He Sui was confused. Seeing the two whispering to each other and He Chen even laughing, he couldn't help but feel indignant: "Sixth Brother, how can you still laugh!"

He Chen said helplessly, "Fourth Brother, I've always been like this."
