Upon hearing the words "elder uncle," the He brothers felt a subtle emotion rise within them. He Chen, however, was delighted to watch the spectacle, a mocking smile playing on his lips.
The naive He Xiaoguo tried to save face for her "uncle" and said in a clear voice, "Uncle, my sister has excellent grades."
The "uncle" didn't believe it at all, thinking that He Xiaoguo was saving face for her sister. After hanging up the phone, he teased He Xiaoguo: "So protective of your sister, huh?"
He didn't believe He Jing was a good student. If He Jing were a good student, why would she have said that her "cousin" was coming over in person?
Mr. He was slightly embarrassed: "Well... maybe we should tell the child not to come."
He was afraid that if the child came over later and was discouraged, he wouldn't be able to concentrate on his studies.
"Uncle" shook his head very firmly: "It's alright, we live nearby, I'll be there soon."

The "uncle" was very satisfied and felt even more certain that he had done the right thing. He calmly sat down on the sofa, waiting for his son to make his glorious appearance and bring him honor.
Soon, the so-called cousin arrived, wearing a thick down jacket and glasses. He had a square face and delicate features. He carried a gift box and had several books tucked under his arm. He knocked on the door and greeted everyone, but his expression was so cold that it could be described as reluctant.
If I had to describe this state, it would be as apt as being called out of a game halfway through, feeling extremely annoyed but having to put on a gentle and obedient act.
He looked at Mr. and Mrs. He, and with his father's introduction, asked bluntly, "Where is my cousin?"
Before He's mother could speak, He Sui interrupted with a half-smile: "Where do you study? What are your grades? Can you even teach my sister?"
The boy was clearly unconvinced. He glanced at He Sui with disdain and said arrogantly, "I studied at a top high school in the capital. I only came back for the Spring Festival. I won an Olympiad math prize. Although I haven't taken the college entrance exam yet, I already have a guaranteed admission to a prestigious university."
Although that prestigious university wasn't ranked very high among all universities in the country, it was good enough to teach an average high school student.
He Sui nodded and said, "Okay, then come in quickly."
With such good grades, I hope He Jing can have a lot of fun. After all, she's been staying at home ever since she came back from Racheal's country, and she must be really bored.
He Jing had just come out of the room with her workbook when she saw the unfamiliar boy approaching. She immediately greeted him, "Oh, cousin, why are you here so soon?"
Upon seeing He Jing's beautiful face, the boy couldn't help but blush. He went from being completely stiff and awkward to becoming flustered. He greeted her with feigned arrogance, "Hello."
