Qian Lizhen: "Thief? Where's the thief?"
Following Zhu Qian's gaze, her eyes fell on He Jing...
"Qianqian, don't talk nonsense, she's your cousin."
Zhu Qian said incredulously, "Mom, have you lost your mind?"

He Jing: "..."
Zhu Qian said impatiently, "Don't think that just because you're here at the Zhu family you're a guest. If you want to have a good time, you have to listen to me. I don't care if you're my cousin or not. If you make me unhappy, I'll kick you out."
He Jing said "Oh," and looked at Qian Lizhen: "Really?"
In her haste, Qian Lizhen smacked Zhu Qian on the head. For the first time ever, she scolded her daughter in front of outsiders, saying, "Shut up, Zhu Qian! How dare you talk to your cousin like that!"
Earlier, the He brothers, their uncle Zhu Qiang, and Zhu's youngest son Zhu Rui had been woken up. They all came out of their rooms and their expressions varied when they heard the conversation.
Zhu Qian covered her head in dissatisfaction and called out, "Mom!"
Qian Lizhen solemnly demanded: "Apologize to your cousin."
Zhu Qian's eyes widened: "Mom, are you crazy?"
The He family is so poor, and the fake cousin from the He family stole her things before. This real one is definitely not a good person either. Why should she apologize to them?
Qian Lizhen noticed her husband standing behind her and anxiously tried to signal to Zhu Qian to behave, but Zhu Qian didn't catch on at all. Turning around and seeing her father, she immediately rushed over to complain, "Dad, look, Mom and the outsiders are ganging up on me..."
Zhu Qiang coldly rebuked: "With so many people watching, you don't even listen to your mother. Do you even respect your mother? Do you have any manners at all!"
One sentence stunned Zhu Qian. She stood there, feeling as if a bucket of cold water had been poured over her, chilling her to the bone.
Normally, Qian Lizhen and Zhu Qiang would always feel sorry for her, so why did things turn out like this after the He family changed their daughter...?
Zhu Qiang glanced at He Jing, who remained expressionless, and sternly ordered, "Apologize!"
Zhu Qian was so frightened that she trembled and burst into tears uncontrollably. She didn't know who she was crying to, but she said "I'm sorry" through her sobs and then covered her face and ran back to her room.
Zhu Qiang composed himself and walked up to He Jing: "Jingjing, please excuse me. Qianqian is usually spoiled by her mother, so please don't take it to heart."
He Jing smiled slightly: "Not at all."
Zhu Qiang then turned around and gave Qian Lizhen a wink, and Qian Lizhen quickly went into the room to talk to Zhu Qian.
The Zhu family only runs a snack business and doesn't set up their stall during the day. So, after this small incident, they just went back to sleep.
He Jing, however, was no longer sleepy. She sat on the sofa and casually picked up a book that had fallen out of the sofa cushions. It was a romance novel.
Before I could even open it, a hand snatched it back: "Who gave you permission to touch my things!"
Zhu Qian came out again with red eyes.
