Shi Xi laughed, "Why are you so nervous? I didn't say there was anything between you two."
"She wanted to come over, but my assistant stopped her." Xie Yunzhou breathed a sigh of relief and said, "As for her being removed from the crew, that has nothing to do with me."
He was just visiting the set and didn't intend to cause any trouble.
Shi Xi thought for a moment, "Whatever, her acting is so-so, if she gets kicked out, so be it."

When the two returned home, they saw a woman standing at the door.
Shi Xi thought she looked familiar. "Is she here to see you?"
Xie Yunzhou's expression was not good. "You go in first."
Shi Xi was puzzled.
After getting out of the car, she walked behind Xie Yunzhou and saw who it was.
It turned out to be Director Shang of the sanatorium.
Shi Xi was slightly surprised.
Dean Shang took a document out of his bag and handed it to Xie Yunzhou with a cold face, "Return this to your family."
Xie Yunzhou refused to accept it, saying calmly, "It's a gift from your grandfather, so you should accept it."
Shi Xi originally wanted to go in, but after hearing this, she decided to stay and watch the drama unfold, so she hesitated and didn't want to go in.

Shi Xi was stunned.
Xie Yunzhou's expression darkened slightly. "Are you finished?"
"I was just giving my daughter-in-law some rational advice. What? Did I hit a nerve with you?" Dean Shang said expressionlessly, handing the document to Shi Xi. "This is our first formal meeting, so consider it a gift for you."
Shi Xi was still in shock at the fact that "this person is Xie Yunzhou's mother" and had not yet recovered.
She should have listened to Xie Yunzhou and gone inside immediately.
Xie Yunzhou took the document from Shi Xi, saying, "I'll accept it on behalf of Xi Xi."
Shi Xi pushed open the door and awkwardly invited, "Come in and have a cup of tea?"
"No need, my flight is this afternoon." Dean Shang glanced at his watch. "My time is precious. You can handle things yourselves from now on."
Dean Shang came and went quickly, turning around and leaving immediately.
Watching Dean Shang's retreating figure, Shi Xi whispered to Xie Yunzhou, "Aren't you going to try and stop her?"
Xie Yunzhou said calmly, "No need."
After saying that, Xie Yunzhou took Shi Xi's hand and strode into the room.
Shi Xi noticed that he was in a bad mood, so she went to the kitchen and poured him a cup of hot tea.
"Unhappy?"
"sorry."
The two spoke at the same time.
Shi Xi smiled and placed the tea beside him. "Is there anything I should apologize for?"
“She and Xie Chongshan divorced a long time ago. What she brought today is her share of the inheritance that her grandfather left her before he passed away.” Xie Yunzhou sighed. “She didn’t want to accept it, so she brought it to me.”
