Chapter 43 I Love You: Absence Makes the Heart Blossom?

Chapter 43 I Love You: Absence Makes the Heart Blossom?

Only when she stood in the hotel lobby did Lin Yu's heart finally calm down, and then it began to pound wildly.

She looked down at her hand, which was being held tightly by Zhou Ke, and her eyes flickered.

The elevator ascended and stopped on the 16th floor. Zhou Ke, holding the room key, pushed open the door with a "ding".

The hotel stands in the city center. Even without the lights on, the room is still illuminated by neon lights and starlight streaming in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, creating a dim view. Lin Yu followed the entrance with her heart pounding.

Zhou Ke raised his hand and casually placed the room card into the card slot. The entryway light suddenly turned on, and the soft orange light fell on Lin Yu's fluffy hair.

Zhou Ke looked down at her. Her smooth black hair was tucked behind her ears, revealing a clean and elegant oval face. Facing the sudden light, her eyelashes blinked for a moment, but in that instant, Zhou Ke suddenly raised his hand and turned off the light in the entryway, plunging the room back into darkness.

"Brother..." Caught off guard by Zhou Ke's sudden action, Lin Yu was about to speak when a hot kiss landed on her lips without warning. Lin Yu let out a soft moan: "Mmm..."

Zhou Ke reached out and wrapped his arms around her waist, their two young, hot bodies pressed tightly together. His lips and tongue skillfully pried open her teeth, and Lin Yu, with her lips slightly parted, accepted his deep caresses. She tilted her slender neck back and wrapped her arms around the back of her brother's neck, passively and enjoying the kiss.

With the lights off, the entryway was pitch black, with only a little light remaining in the living room.

The quiet room was occasionally filled with the soft sounds of kissing. Lin Yu tilted her head, their noses touching, their hot breaths spraying onto each other's cheeks, mingling with their burning breaths. In the darkness, their breathing quickened, and their body temperatures gradually rose.

Zhou Ke held her waist with one hand and supported the back of her head with the other. Lin Yu felt weak all over from the kiss, and her heart was pounding in her chest.

After kissing for a while, Zhou Ke released her lips, pressed his forehead against hers, and his heavy breathing echoed in her ears, his scalding breath engulfing her completely.

Lin Yu hugged his waist, still reeling from the kiss, feeling like she was about to melt into a puddle of mud.

Just before her knees were about to slip, Zhou Ke suddenly grabbed her and turned to walk towards the living room behind her.

Having not seen each other for so long, kisses alone were not enough to satisfy her. In the dim light, Zhou Ke sat on the sofa, and Lin Yu knelt between his legs, cupping his face in her hands. Zhou Ke held her waist with one hand and tightly wrapped his other arm around her waist and abdomen, as if he wanted to knead her into his bones.

Deprived of oxygen for too long, her mind was foggy and she was in a state of oxygen deficiency. He withdrew from her lips, giving her a chance to recover. His broad hands pressed down on her waist, and Lin Yu sat crookedly on his lap. Zhou Ke lowered his neck, his nose touching hers, and heavy breaths mingled between their teeth. (Hello reviewer: This is a kiss, above the neck...)

Lin Yu closed her eyes, her moist lips beginning to kiss his chin haphazardly, "Brother...brother...Zhou Ke."

"Yes, I'm here," he replied in his deep, husky voice.

In the living room, where the water was gurgling, someone's hand grasped the metal clasp and snapped it open.

The rustling sound of the plastic wrap being torn reached Lin Yu's ears, and she felt her heart beating incredibly fast.

......

The ultimate joy unfolded in his mind like a grand fireworks display, just like the fireworks extravaganza they watched together at Guanyinqiao on New Year's Eve many years ago.

After it was over, he stopped, left her embrace, then scooped up the soaking wet person and held her in his arms, giving her gentle kisses to comfort her.

Her voice was hoarse, her body was exhausted from his care, and her hair was sticky and clinging to her back.

Seeing her heavy breathing, Zhou Ke thought of getting up to pour her some water, but she grabbed his wrist. He turned around and met his sister's misty eyes.

A blush spread across her cheeks, and her forehead, damp with sweat, gleamed like white jade in the dim night.

“Brother…” she uttered in a soft voice.

"Mmm." He gently stroked the back of her hand with his fingertips.

"Hug me."

"good."

He held her hand tightly, refusing to let go, and with his free hand, he put his arm around his sister's back and patted her gently.

The next day, when Lin Yu woke up, she felt a weight on her waist. She looked down and saw that it was Zhou Ke's arm.

She turned to the side, changing to a face-to-face position.

Zhou Ke kept his eyes closed, his wisps of hair hanging down his forehead, his long eyelashes falling on his lower eyelids, and his thin lips pressed into a natural curve.

Rarely having such an opportunity to glimpse her brother's sleeping eyes, Lin Yu raised her hand to stroke his long eyelashes. After a moment, she saw Zhou Ke's eyelids twitch and then slowly open.

Lin Yu was taken aback, seemingly not expecting him to wake up so quickly. She guiltily reached her hand back and whispered, "I woke you up."

“No.” Zhou Ke pulled the person closer with his arm and said, “You woke up the moment you turned around.”

He was a light sleeper, and he would wake up at the slightest sound from her.

Lin Yu touched his brow and asked, "How many days are you staying in Jiangcheng?"

Zhou Ke: "The timing is uncertain, but Yan Yadong will handle things in Tongcheng."

Lin Yu's eyes lit up: "Really?"

Zhou Ke closed his eyes slightly, gave a soft "hmm," and said, "I can stay with you for as long as you want."

Lin Yu: "So what will we do these next few days? We'll show you around Jiangcheng."

"Anything is fine." Zhou Ke held her hand. "You can arrange it."

Zhou Ke's arrival in Jiangcheng was already a pleasant surprise for Lin Yu, and now his attitude of wanting to stay with her for as long as possible made Lin Yu even happier.

Unfortunately, the weather turned against them. As soon as autumn arrived in Jiangcheng, the rainy season began. In the afternoon, the two of them ordered takeout at the hotel, and it started raining right after they finished eating.

The two had no choice but to stay at the hotel.

Lin Yu had never understood the allure of a short separation making a new marriage, until now, as the protagonist herself, she finally understood its meaning.

Even though they had worked until the wee hours last night and exhausted all their energy, as long as they stayed together, the kisses took on a different flavor. From the sofa to the bathroom, it was endless. Water flowed down their hair and down their spines. Lin Yu hugged Zhou Ke's waist and, at the last moment, whispered in his ear, "I love you."

In an instant, Zhou Ke felt as if his chest had been washed by a warm current. He paused, a smile playing on his lips, and cupped her cheek in his water-dampened palms. In a gentle and tender tone, he slowly said, "I love you too, I will always love you."

She spent an absurd weekend at the hotel. At first, her roommates were quite tactful and didn't bother her, but on the second day, they finally couldn't help but tease her about how she was feeling.

Lin Yu's face flushed red as she looked at the message.

Zhou Ke was occasionally intrigued by her words, "What did you say that made you blush like this?"

Lin Yu rested her head on his lap, turned her phone face down, and gave him a reproachful look: "These are all topics between girls, don't ask."

Zhou Ke raised an eyebrow, but didn't follow up with the question. Instead, he turned to ask her roommate.

Lin Yu wasn't a particularly outgoing person to begin with, and the fact that she had just had such a falling out with Zhou Ke before the start of the semester meant that she hardly ever smiled during that time. To distract herself and not have so much time to think about her relationship with her brother, Lin Yu took on two part-time jobs at once. In addition to working at a milk tea shop on the west side of the school, she also worked at a flower shop for a while.

Seeing her like this, her roommates assumed she came from a poor family and helped her a lot, both openly and secretly. It wasn't until Lin Yu explained that she wasn't like that at all, and that she was only doing part-time work because she didn't want to be idle, that everyone realized the truth.

The three girls in the dormitory have very different personalities, but they are all kind-hearted.

Speaking of this, Lin Yu remembered: "They were all very curious about you, and they even said before that they would like to meet you if they had the chance."

After hearing what Lin Yu said, Zhou Ke also wanted to express his gratitude to them in person for taking care of Lin Yu.

The night before leaving Jiangcheng, Zhou Ke booked a restaurant and asked Lin Yu to invite her roommates so they could all have dinner together.

Zhou Ke didn't know the three girls' preferences, so he let Lin Yu choose three gifts, and he paid for them, giving them to the three girls at the dinner table.

None of the three expected Zhou Ke to be so considerate, so their goodwill towards him grew rapidly.

After the meal, Zhou Ke successfully passed their test.
