The bar was dimly lit and the music was loud. Jiayi pulled Lin Yu to a corner to sit down. The two chatted casually. When they saw that they were about to finish their drinks, Jiayi immediately called over a passing waiter and ordered another one.

When she turned around, her gaze met that of a boy not far away. Jiayi was stunned for a moment, then bent her arm and put it on the table, covered her mouth with one hand, and winked at Lin Yu: "Look at that boy in the black T-shirt over there, he seems to be staring at us."

Lin Yu was taken aback. Following her gaze, she saw the boy Jia Yi had mentioned. Their eyes met, and the boy gave Lin Yu a friendly smile.

Lin Yu abruptly looked away, but a moment later, Jia Yi leaned close to her ear and whispered, "He's coming!"

"Hi, you two beauties." The young man walked confidently to their table, his eyes fixed on Lin Yu. "Can I buy you a drink?"

Meanwhile, Yan Yadong glanced at his sister sitting in the corner, picked up the shaker on the table and took a sip of his drink. Suddenly, he nudged Zhou Ke with his elbow and blurted out, "Wow! It's only been a short time and someone's already going over to chat up your sister."

As soon as he finished speaking, Zhou Ke lifted his eyelids, his gaze passing through the flickering lamplight and landing directly on Lin Yu.

In bars, there's no shortage of people trying to strike up conversations and make friends. Sure enough, within just twenty minutes, a stylish young man was already standing in front of Lin Yu and her friends' table.

In their field of vision, Lin Yu and Jia Yi sat facing each other, with a boy standing beside them. It was unclear what he said, but Jia Yi covered her mouth and laughed the next second, while Lin Yu also pursed her lips and smiled slightly.

Seeing this, Yan Yadong shook his head and clicked his tongue twice: "I remember you said before that your sister had a boyfriend at school but didn't tell you. I think you might suddenly have a brother-in-law one day."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Ke gave him a cold glance, his grip on the cup tightened involuntarily, and several faint blue veins appeared on the back of his fair hand. His expression darkened inch by inch, and a faint sneer escaped from his nose: "Is that so?"

The three of them were still chatting and laughing.

Upon noticing something, Zhou Ke's originally gentle gaze turned colder, and the corners of his lips turned down, as if he were somewhat dissatisfied.

Yan Yadong lowered his head, picked up his wine glass and took a sip. Just as he was about to say something to Zhou Ke, he turned his head and saw the latter staring into the distance with an icy expression. A question mark immediately appeared in his mind.

He followed Zhou Ke's gaze and found that Zhou Ke's eyes were still fixed on Lin Yu's table.

In her field of vision, the group was laughing heartily, and the atmosphere was just right and harmonious. After a while, she saw the other person take out their phone and point it at Lin Yu, muttering something to themselves. The next second, Lin Yu also picked up her phone.

This scene looks exactly like they're exchanging contact information.

Seeing this, Yan Yadong patted Zhou Ke on the shoulder and suddenly spoke in a fatherly tone, saying with emotion, "The little girl has grown up."

Zhou Ke was displeased by these words. He looked through the noisy crowd and stared straight at his sister sitting in the corner.

Lin Yu was wearing a light green halter dress tonight. The lining of the dress only reached her upper thighs, and below that was a layer of sheer fabric. Her fair and straight long legs were hidden under the light green mesh, appearing and disappearing. Two thin straps draped over her slender shoulders, and her long hair was draped behind her shoulders. Her butterfly-shaped shoulder blades were faintly visible among the strands of hair. Although she was slender, she had all the curves she should have. The light and thin fabric in summer perfectly outlined the girl's delicate figure.

She sat there quietly, like a gardenia nestled among tender leaves, pure and innocent, effortlessly attracting the attention of the opposite sex without having to do anything.

Although I disagree with some of what they say, I have to admit that it is the truth.

Zhou Ke lowered his eyes, his gaze suddenly darkening.

Indeed, my younger sister has grown up and become a graceful young lady, the object of every gentleman's affections.

Zhou Ke slammed the cup down on the marble floor and stood up. Yan Yadong glanced up and quickly asked, "Where are you going?"

"It's getting late, take them home." Zhou Ke said, then walked towards the corner without looking back.

Yan Yadong knew, of course, who they were referring to. He frowned and couldn't help but wonder, was it really that late?

They run a bar, and at this hour... well... business is booming.

Lin Yu picked up her wine glass, took a sip of the remaining wine, and stared blankly at Zhou Kechao as he walked towards her. Only when he got closer did she call out "Brother".

My throat felt sticky and soft after drinking alcohol, and my voice became sweeter.

Upon hearing the sound, Jiayi suddenly looked up and saw Zhou Ke coming over. She also called out "Brother!"

Zhou Ke nodded and glanced at the two of them: "It's getting late, I'll take you home first."

Upon hearing this, Jiayi's eyes widened, she opened her mouth, and blurted out, "Go back now?"

"Hmm." Zhou Ke replied truthfully, his expression indifferent. "If you like it, come again next time you have time. It's not safe for girls to go home too late."

Since that's what they've said, Jiayi pouted and nodded, "Okay, thank you, Brother Zhou Ke."

Pushing open the bar door, a sweltering summer breeze swept over Lin Yu, ruffling the hair behind her head.

Zhou Ke's car was parked in the parking area in front of the bar. The two followed him over. When they reached the car, Lin Yu glanced at the passenger seat and then, without hesitation, chose to sit in the back with Jia Yi.

As night falls and the neon lights of the main urban area begin to illuminate the night, a gentle breeze blows through the air, and the vehicles start automatically, then turn into the right lane and continue driving forward.

Lin Yu and Zhou Ke were not talkative, but Jia Yi was a real chatterbox, chattering non-stop from the moment she got on the bus.

She opened the Moments of the boy she had just added, and then, as if she had discovered something, she let out a low gasp, leaned close to Lin Yu, shoved the phone screen in front of her, and sighed, "I didn't realize that this handsome young man has such a great physique. Look at his abs, those lines, and those arms. I really want to touch them; they must feel amazing."

The boy in the photo is shirtless, posing for a selfie in front of a mirror. His clearly defined six-pack abs are clearly visible in the picture, with his V-line disappearing into low-rise sweatpants.

The noise from the air conditioning vents suddenly increased, and Zhou Ke's knuckles, gripping the steering wheel, turned slightly white. Using the front-view mirror, he lifted his eyelids to glance at the person in the back seat.

When the car encounters a red light, it stops.

Zhou Ke sat in the driver's seat, listening to Jia Yi say things like, "You have a great figure," and "Those abs must feel really good to touch."

He could feel the throbbing in his temples.

However, in the next sentence, Lin Yu looked at the photo and gave a sincere evaluation: "Indeed."

Zhou Ke: "......"

The air quieted down, with only the low hum of the air conditioner vents remaining.

Zhou Ke sat in the driver's seat, his entire body shrouded in the shadows of the car, his fingertips slowly tapping lightly on the steering wheel.

Hearing that Lin Yu thought so too, Jia Yi immediately became excited: "Right, you think so too? But it's a pity that he's interested in you. Otherwise, I would have pursued him. Hey little brother, he's exactly my type."

He slammed on the brakes, and the black SUV came to a sudden stop at the side of the road. The two people behind him were still chatting away. Zhou Ke cleared his throat, turned around to look at Jia Yi, and reminded her, "Jia Yi, we're home."

Upon hearing this, Jiayi suddenly fell silent. She looked around through the car window. This familiar environment really meant she was home. How fast! There was still so much she wanted to say.

Jiayi sighed, reluctantly picked up her bag and got off the bus. "I'll head back now, bye-bye. I'll come find you again in a few days."

After saying that, she moved to look at the driver's seat and smiled, "Thank you, Brother Zhou Ke, for bringing me back."

Zhou Ke smiled slightly, maintaining basic politeness: "No need to be so polite."

Once the person left, the atmosphere in the car suddenly became quiet.

Tongcheng boasts a vibrant nightlife, and it's currently bustling with activity. The shops lining both sides of the road are all lit up, and the food street is teeming with life. The tables and chairs in front of the barbecue stalls and open-air restaurants are packed with people, and beer bottles are piled up everywhere.

Lin Yu turned her head, lowered her eyes, and glanced at the phone she was holding in her palm.

"You like younger brothers?" Zhou Ke's sudden question startled Lin Yu. She let out a short "Ah!" and before she could recover, she heard Zhou Ke ask again, "Want to be in a relationship?"

Lin Yu wondered why he suddenly brought this up. Was it because of what they had just talked about? She remained silent for a moment, then asked in return, "I'm in college now, past the age of being a minor. Shouldn't I be able to date now, brother? What do you think?"

Zhou Ke choked, unsure how to answer. A twenty-year-old girl was in the prime of her life. To say that she couldn't date at this stage would surely label her as old-fashioned and pedantic. But to say that she could was like a fishbone stuck in his throat, impossible to pull out or swallow, relentlessly poking at his delicate skin, causing him immense pain.

He couldn't bring himself to say it, but Lin Yu seemed eager to know the answer. In the silent air, she asked again, "Why isn't brother answering?"

This was a case of getting to the bottom of things, and Zhou Ke felt a surge of inexplicable irritation. "Whatever you like."

"What if I liked someone much older than me, the same age as you? Would you still think it's okay if I liked him?" Lin Yu asked with a smile.

The car pulled up to the apartment building, and Zhou Ke slammed on the brakes, bringing it to a steady stop in the parking space. He unbuckled his seatbelt, grabbed the keys, opened the car door, slammed it shut, and then opened the back door.

The action was completed in one go, so fast that Lin Yu didn't even have time to react before she saw Zhou Ke with one hand on the edge of the car and the other hand gripping the door handle. He exuded an unusual sense of pressure, his eyes slightly lowered as he looked down at Lin Yu sitting in the car, his smile somewhat eerie: "You can try."

As soon as the car door opened, the sweltering evening breeze rushed in, creating a strong clash with the cool air inside the car.

Lin Yu's heart skipped a beat, and the next moment she heard Zhou Ke say to her with a forced smile, "I'll break your legs."

Zhou Ke would never utter such violent words, but now, as each word came crashing down, Lin Yu's mind went blank, and she was completely stunned. Ironically, she actually felt a dull pain in her calves.

She belatedly raised her eyelashes and looked at her brother, who was blocking the car door. Looking into his dark and deep eyes, her gaze trembled slightly, and a dense bubble floated in her heart.
