Chapter 3 You really hooked up with the young marshal?

Xu Zhuohua had never seen that look in his eyes before. It was like a beast seeing its prey, or a vicious gambler looking at the stakes. It was absolutely malicious and terrifying.

Those are cannibalistic eyes!

Like hunting dogs guarding a lion, they wait intently until the lion has eaten and drunk its fill, then swarm in and devour even the bones of their prey.

Jinghuai, carrying the bucket, silently walked to Jing'an's side and whispered something in her ear.

Jing'an immediately looked at Xu Zhuohua with alertness, especially when she saw the military uniform she was wearing, she was even more surprised and her face was full of sorrow.

All the nuns in the courtyard were staring at Xu Zhuohua's military uniform.

Xu Zhuohua didn't consider herself a low-key person, especially since the heart of this body was pounding wildly, and she was so happy she felt like she could fly.

"What are you looking at? I'm the young marshal's man now. We'll settle our scores later."

Just looking at the strange expressions on these people's faces made Xu Zhuohua burst into laughter. Everyone here had bullied her, and everyone felt like they had swallowed a fly.

However, Xu Zhuohua was not confident. He knew that he couldn't pretend to be weak and foolish for long, so he couldn't go too far.

Once Jinghuai had vacated the meditation room, she went inside.

Although it can't compare to my 21st-century bedroom, it's definitely more comfortable than the woodshed the original owner slept in.

The night was quiet, with no car horns or the crackling of electricity. Xu Zhuohua was a little uneasy; she slept restlessly, constantly dreaming of the original owner's experiences of being bullied.

So when she was woken up the next day, she was still grumpy.

There was a loud knocking on the door. She opened it, her hair disheveled, and said, "What is it! So early in the morning! Can't a person get some sleep?!"

The girl outside suddenly froze. Xu Zhuohua looked at her delicate and fair face and remembered something. This was Xinghua, the original owner's personal maid. She had been taken away by the Xu family long ago. Why was she here now?

"Apricot Blossom? What brings you here?"

Xinghua's face was flushed, and her voice was still as high-pitched as before, "Miss, Master has sent someone to take you home."

Xu Zhuohua stood there stunned for a few seconds before she realized, "You've come to take me home?"

Xinghua's eyes brightened. "Yes, Miss, let's go. Master is still waiting for you at home."

Xu Zhuohua quickly packed her things. Staying in the nunnery would eventually lead to her being exposed, and she would inevitably suffer the same fate as the old nuns there. It would be better for her to go to the Xu family.

Even if she wasn't a real young lady, she could still be a well-off maid who had prayed for the real young lady at the temple for six years.

Xu Zhuohua's most important task right now is to survive in this chaotic world, regardless of whether she is a young lady or a maid.

With her brain brimming with advanced 21st-century knowledge, she's bound to have a pretty good life.

Xu Zhuohua changed into the sea-blue robe and skirt that Xinghua had brought her. They were elegant and dignified, with sea and cliff patterns embroidered on the collar and cuffs. Xu Zhuohua touched them and found them to be very soft.

These are all future cultural relics; they are truly ingenious.

Sitting in the Xu family's car, Xu Zhuohua kept marveling at how wealthy and powerful the Xu family was, even using a car to bring home a fake young lady.

Although this car moves very slowly, it doesn't stop it from looking impressive!
