After the village chief calmed the mother and son, he said to the surrounding tourists, "I'm sorry to have frightened everyone. Although this was a man-made accident, on behalf of our village, I still want to apologize to everyone. We also bear some responsibility for this matter. I will arrange for a few more people to watch over it to prevent it from happening again."
"Village Chief, no one could have predicted this kind of thing, and it's not your fault. We are all sensible people."
"Yes, you have done a good job. We won't blame you."
Most tourists understand, but a small number do not want their children to play on the slides anymore, fearing that their children will encounter the same situation, and they will be the ones who feel heartbroken.
After the village chief saluted to everyone, he instructed the patrol team to send more people to the playground to ensure that everything was safe.
After the village chief finished speaking, the old man told him his thoughts.
The village chief readily agreed and said that he would find a few people to implement this matter as soon as possible when he returned.
After the old man and others returned home, they were also helpless about the accident that happened today.
Qibao comforted him, "Grandpa, don't overthink it. This incident was beyond our expectations. It serves as a warning to us. From now on, we should have a safety officer next to each slide to direct the children to line up in an orderly manner."
The old man nodded and said, "It can only be done this way."
The next day was the day for the brothers to take a day off, and for a moment the Xu family became very lively.
"Zihao, I have been learning sketching from your elder brother these days. I heard from Wenwu that your painting skills are higher than his. Do you think you can give some guidance to elder brother Wen?" Wen Yuan said with a smile.
"Brother Wen, you're joking. I can't say I'm giving you any guidance. I just learned a few years earlier than you." Xu Zihao said with a smile.
Wen Yuan said, "The wisest are the best teachers! Zihao, there's no need to be so modest."
Wang was happy from the bottom of her heart when she saw the children chattering and making noise at home. No other family in the village had as many children and grandchildren as her own. When these boys got married and had children in the future, this house would probably not be big enough for them. Thinking of the scene of four generations living under the same roof, her heart was filled with joy.
"I don't know how your second brother is doing now!" Zhang sighed.
"Mom, you don't have to worry about my second brother. He is not a child anymore and knows how to take care of himself. Besides, Uncle Qian is here to take care of him, so don't worry." Xu Wenwu said.
Zhang said, "I know, but this child has never left our side since he was little. I'm not used to not seeing him for such a long time."
In the afternoon, students started to leave the school one after another. Xiaoliu and other boys in the village walked out of the school gate in groups of three or five.
Several boys were chattering non-stop.
"Kid, come here!"
Suddenly a voice sounded.
Several boys looked in the direction of the voice.
Seeing that it was a strange woman, Xiao Liu was not afraid of strangers and asked, "Who is your name?"
The woman smiled and said, "Aren't you the young master Xu from the Xu family? It's you I'm looking for!"
"We all have the surname Xu!" Xiaoliu said with a shrug.
"I'm looking for Xu Wenwu's younger brother. I know you are him." The woman said again.
"That's right, I'm the one you're looking for! What do you want from me?" Xiao Liu glanced up and down at the woman and said.
"Young Master Xu, please give this letter to your elder brother quietly." The woman smiled and took out an envelope from her arms.
Xiao Liu asked suspiciously, "Who are you? Why don't you give it to my eldest brother yourself? Why do you ask me to pass it on?"
The woman said with a look of disappointment, "There's a misunderstanding between your elder brother and me, so I'd like to ask you to give him a letter."
Xiaoliu took the envelope suspiciously. He was sure that the woman looked unfamiliar to him. He had never seen his elder brother interact with any woman before. But it was just a letter.
"Okay, I'll take it there for you!" Xiaoliu said, and then he rushed home with a few friends.
The woman watched them walk away with a smug smile on her face.
"Sixth brother, who is that woman?" A boy looked at the letter in Xiaoliu's hand curiously.
"I don't know. I know everything about my elder brother, so who cares!" Xiaoliu said indifferently.
"Sixth brother, do you smell any fragrance?" another boy asked with a shrug.
Upon hearing this, several boys sniffed together.
"I smell it too!"
The last few people stared at the letter in Xiaoliu's hand at the same time.
Xiaoliu put the letter under his nose and sniffed it, saying, "Yes, that's the smell."
"Why does this envelope have a scent?"
Xiao Liu touched his chin and said, "Unless it was applied on purpose!"
Xiaoliu returned home and shouted as soon as he entered the door: "Brother, a woman asked me to give this to you, and she even put perfume on it!"
"What! What kind of perfume?" Zhang suddenly became sensitive. This was both a woman and perfume.
Xiao Liu said: "That's the aunt!"
Zhang took the envelope and smelled it. It did have a woman's fragrance. Then she saw the words "Personally addressed to Brother Xu" written on the envelope. This was amazing!
"Wenwu, what's going on?" Zhang asked with a stern face.
Wendie looked normal, but her hands were tightly gripping the cover of her phone, and her fingers were turning white.
Wen Yuan frowned, looking a little ugly, but Xu Wenwu was not the kind of person who would do anything to let his sister down. Now he was just waiting to see what he would say.
Xu Wenwu frowned, took the letter and opened it. There were only a few lines of poetry written on it: "A piece of white paper is like residual snow, tied into a pair of carp. If you want to know what's in my heart, read the book in my belly." At the end, he added, "I will see you tonight at three quarters past midnight."
