Chapter 110 Take Care

Tian Sangui turned around and looked at him with confusion, seeing Wang Er's clean, tanned face up close for the first time.

Surprisingly, he looks even more appealing and handsome.

"you......"

Before he could finish speaking, Wang Er interrupted him.

I will protect you!

"Tch~" I thought he had come up with a good idea, but it turned out to be just an unimportant remark.

Tian Sangui sat on the ground dejectedly, knowing he would have to come up with a better solution himself.

Seeing that she didn't take it seriously, Wang Erwazi revealed a doting smile from above, out of her sight.

I couldn't resist reaching out and ruffling her hair.

Frustrated, Tian Sangui angrily slapped his hand away, his Taiwanese accent flaring up as he yelled, "What are you doing?!"

Then he tidied up the stray hairs that he had ruffled.

Wang Erwazi was so charmed by her that he couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"Hey, Tian Sangui, if I become a high-ranking official in the future, would you be willing to marry me?"

ha?

Why do men always say the same thing? Is there nothing else besides their wives?

"Ugh, this isn't the time to talk about this."

If it weren't for the fact that he saved his life, Tian Sangui would have kicked him this morning, instead of letting him stand there grinning and causing trouble.

Wang Er smiled, leaned against the big tree, and looked up at the sky full of green leaves, as if he was saying a final, reluctant farewell.

"I want to eat your roujiamo (Chinese hamburger), can you get me some?"

Tian Sangui was speechless. The problem hadn't been solved yet, and all he was thinking about was food. Tian Sangui glared at him irritably.

Thinking that he was injured, I got up and went back to get it for him, and also brought some anti-inflammatory and analgesic herbs.

"Wait for me, I'll be back soon. Can you keep an eye on him?"

Tian Sangui was still worried, so he looked at the ground a few times to make sure that he hadn't moved.

Wang Er didn't take the incident on the ground to heart: "He couldn't have hurt me if he was perfectly fine. He's completely unconscious now, and even if he gets up, he'll be weak and powerless. Don't worry about it!"

Tian Sangui then gave a few more instructions and quickly ran home, only to hear a concerned voice behind him: "Remember to change your clothes, don't catch a cold!"

Tian Sangui didn't stop and quickly drove away.

When Wang Er couldn't see Tian Sangui, his smile was immediately replaced by pain, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

He stared intently at the unconscious Zhao Yan. This guy dared to make a move on Tian Sangui and ruin his plans; he would never let him off easily. He would deal with him properly on the way.

Tian Sangui moved quickly, thinking that her two older brothers needed five or six to be full, and that Wang Er was no exception.

I simply packed the remaining twenty or so for him; if he couldn't finish them, his mother could heat them up and eat them.

Bring anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving medication, change into a clean light red cotton dress, lock the door, and return along the same path.

In a daze, I heard someone calling in my ear: "Wang Er, are you alright?"

Wang Er barely managed to lift his heavy eyes, a blurry, pretty red glint appearing before his eyes cleared after a few blinks.

"Hehe, you're so beautiful! Even Yu Niang isn't half as pretty as you!"

"At a time like this, you still have the mind to think about these things?"

She said it to him, but she was still happy inside.

"Didn't you want to eat roujiamo (Chinese hamburger)? I brought you all the leftovers from home. If you can't finish them, ask your mom to heat them up for you!"

"No!"

"Huh?" Tian Sangui wondered, why did Wang Er keep saying things she couldn't quite understand?

"I mean, I like it cold!"

Wang Er perked up and sat up, changing the subject, mainly because he didn't want anyone to touch the things she had given him.

Tian Sangui knelt on the ground, unfolded the steamed bun wrapping, and handed him a steamed bun.

Wang Er started eating heartily.

"I also brought some anti-inflammatory medicine. Turn around and I'll apply it for you!"

"That...is so embarrassing?"

Wang Er was both happy and shy.

"Why weren't you embarrassed when you were getting your bandaged up? Now you're feeling shy?"

"Turn around, the wound is serious!"

Then, Wang Er obediently turned around, getting a taste of the treatment he would receive from his family in the future.

I happily ate three more roujiamo (Chinese hamburgers).

Tian Sangui changed the bandage to white linen and bandaged his wound.

"alright!"

With food in his stomach and his wounds properly treated, Wang Er's energy was somewhat restored.

He turned around and looked at Tian Sangui with a smile, his face covered in a fine sweat from exhaustion.

Wang Er reached out to wipe it away for her, but Tian Sangui, who was on guard, dodged it.

"What, are you trying to mess up my hair again?"

Wang Er smiled to hide his disappointment. He looked up at the sky one last time; it was time to set off.

He stood up, walked to the tree, and lifted the unconscious Zhao Yan onto his shoulder.

"what are you up to?"

Tian Sangui exclaimed in surprise, wanting to know Wang Er's motives.

"You're not allowed to hide it from me?" Tian Sangui suddenly felt a terrible panic, as if something was forcibly separating from her heart.

He walked up to her, picked up the roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) package and slung it over his other shoulder, then turned back to Tian Sangui with a bright smile and said, "Go back and forget about today!"

After saying that, Wang Erwa carried Zhao Yan and strode into the darkness of the woods.

Tian Sangui was worried, so she got up and followed him. She was determined to see what Wang Erwazi was up to.

Hearing footsteps approaching from behind, Wang Er turned around to stop him: "Go back. It's better if you don't know how to deal with him. Trust me, I will protect you and your family!"

The bright smile filled his heart, forcing Tian Sangui to stop following.

She had a feeling that Wang Erwazi would never come back, and tears inexplicably streamed down her face.

"Wang Er~"

The departing figure paused, not turning back to anticipate the next sentence.

With uncontrollable sobs, Tian Sangui cried out, "I'll be here waiting for you again tomorrow!"

Wang Er's body trembled slightly. He clenched his fist and smiled up at the sky to hide the sand in his eyes.

Perhaps this departure isn't such a bad thing after all!

He dared not look back, suppressing his impulse, and continued to walk forward.

"Take care of yourself!"

Wang Er waved his hand and uttered two words, but the distance was too far and the sound could not reach behind him, so Tian Sangui naturally could not hear it.

Tian Sangui, fearing he might not return, specifically told him this, hoping to see Wang Erwazi return the next day.

They disappeared into the woods for a very long time, until the setting sun shone on their tearful eyes.

"He will definitely come back!"

I composed myself, wiped away my tears, and forced a calm demeanor to go home and cook.

For some reason, she felt a sense of loss. At dinner, Zhang went into the kitchen and called Tian Sangui several times but received no response.

Zhang went around the stove to look for her and found her squatting on the ground holding an onion, peeling half of it, with tears welling up in her eyes.

Zhang hurriedly pulled her over with heartache and scolded, "You child, save this dish for when I get back! Look at you, your eyes are watering from the spiciness!"

Zhang's sleeve fell on Tian Sangui's face, and the warmth of her family brought her back to her thoughts of being far away from home.

The familiar scent of soapberry on Zhang's sleeve eased his worries and brought him a sense of peace.

"Mom, I'm fine. I've already peeled them all. Let's have scrambled eggs with onions today!"

"Okay, we all love to eat it. Mom will watch the fire for you!"

"Why!"

Tian Sangui took a deep breath, slightly concealing his unease, and turned to immerse himself in his family's meal.
