Wu Chen looked at Wei Yuyan with a smile.
Wei Yuyan felt that the room was a bit small and somewhat stuffy.
"You chatterbox, I'm leaving."
Wei Yuyan pouted and left with the empty bowl.
Wu Chen was still lying in bed, savoring the taste in his mouth. The thought that she had personally cooked it for him made his mouth feel sweet.
The next day, Wei Yuyan actually asked someone to buy two catties of pig's trotters and brought them back, and made braised pig's trotters with soybeans for everyone.
"You are what you eat."
Wei Yuyan picked up a large piece of pig's trotter for Wu Chen; this was the first time she had ever served food to Wu Chen.
Wu Chen wished he could chew the bones to pieces.
A few days later, the weather warmed up a bit, and Wei Yuyan started thinking about going up the mountain to look for wildflowers or something.
She taught her brother-in-law how to make scented soap, and then let them think about what kind of business they wanted to start.
"I'll go with you."
Wu Chen's leg has improved, and he can walk without crutches.
"No need, your own leg isn't fully healed yet."
Wei Yuyan quickly waved her hand, indicating that she didn't want him to do these things anymore because her leg was already injured.
"The doctor told me to walk around even when I'm not busy, and besides, you're not going to the deep mountains."
Wu Chen stubbornly insisted on following along.
"Alright then, don't blame me if your legs hurt later."
Wei Yuyan was too lazy to say anything more; let him follow if he wanted.
When Wu Chen heard that Wei Yuyan had agreed, he was so happy that his teeth were practically stretched to the back roots, but he didn't dare to laugh out loud, afraid that she would regret bringing him along.
Wei Yuyan was completely free today, with her hands empty and her hoe on Wu Chen's back.
