Chapter 52. Taking a second bite of Li with Li.
"Li Yu, I can hardly breathe."
Qin Song pushed against the chest of the person in front of her, and Li Yu loosened his arms slightly, still holding her.
He hunched over, burying his head in her left shoulder, his deep voice filled with self-reproach: "Songniang, let me hold you for a while. I'm going crazy. I've been looking for you for so long. I'm so worried."
As he spoke, he couldn't help but tighten his grip on her even more.
Qin Song didn't dare to aggravate his injury and didn't move in a hurry.
A loud reminder came from behind him.
"Young Master, important matters are of utmost importance."
Qin Song looked over his shoulder and saw a carriage parked in the courtyard. A Zhao stood in front of a group of soldiers, preventing them from getting close.
The one who reminded Li Yu was a soldier from the Zhenbei Army who had returned from reporting the news to Yunzhou.
Qin Song broke free from Li Yu and turned to the soldiers behind him: "General Tao is in the room. He is seriously injured. If there is a doctor, please go and treat him immediately."
The soldiers glanced at Li Yu, then stole a look at Qin Song, not daring to look any longer. They bowed and accepted the order, then led a military doctor into the house.
With no one behind her, Li Yu's mind and eyes were filled with Qin Song. She glanced down and saw the arrow wound on Qin Song's shoulder. Her eyes instantly reddened, and she trembled as she reached out to lift Qin Song's clothes, choking back tears as she asked, "Who did this!" "It's a long story. Let's talk about it later," Qin Song said, not having time for pleasantries. She then asked, "Where did you go before? You suddenly disappeared that night, and I looked for you for a long time."
Okay, to be precise, just one glance.
That day, she hid him behind the curtain in the clean room, intending to turn back and see him off when Tao Qingyang left. But when she lifted the curtain, she didn't see him.
The small clean room had no other exit, and Qin Song always wondered where he had hidden it.
“That inn had a secret passage. I accidentally triggered a mechanism and fell in,” Li Yu said, her voice slightly nasal.
He had heard from the messenger that they were injured when he arrived. He had brought some of the best wound medicine, and as he applied it to her wounds from his waist, he replied, "The secret passage is actually an exit that connects to a water source two miles outside the inn. It was by accident that I discovered the source of the city's plague. It turns out someone was poisoning the water... Does it hurt? Should I be gentler?"
He said this while looking up at her.
His movements were very gentle; he used his fingertips to apply the ointment to the skin, which felt cool and didn't hurt at all.
Qin Song shook his head and began to ponder the situation in the city and the information Li Niang had given him.
If we had already guessed most of the situation in Yun and Dan prefectures from Li Niang's words, we can now get a pretty good idea of the whole picture.
The layout of this grand strategy seems to be taking shape.
"How is my father now?" Qin Song asked.
"Old Qin's leg injury hasn't healed yet, and the wound is festering, making it difficult for him to move around. We stopped him from coming. I'll take you back now." Li Yu wanted to take her hand.
"No rush, you go first—"
As soon as Qin Song spoke, the soldiers inside carried the unconscious Tao Qingyang out of the room, with the military doctor following behind.
"Miss Qin, why has General Tao's wound reopened?" the soldier asked anxiously.
Qin Song glanced at his increasingly pale face and, to be honest, felt a pang of heartache, but she couldn't explain it. She couldn't very well say that he had gone mad and broken down on his own, could she?
She didn't answer, but the military doctor next to her explained, "General Tao has lost too much blood and is too weak to stand. He is unconscious. I have limited medicine in my medicine box. The general cannot endure the long journey. Let's take him back to camp for now."
Upon hearing this, Qin Song immediately stepped aside and said, "Go back quickly and trouble the doctor and all the soldiers to take good care of him. After General Tao wakes up, please tell him to take good care of himself. Danzhou needs him, and I need him too. All the soldiers, please take care of yourselves as well, and I wish you all a speedy return."
Li Yu felt a pang of jealousy at Qin Song's words, but Qin Song's overly respectful and solemn expression made him ashamed of his own selfishness. After a moment's thought, he added, "Use a carriage."
The soldiers quickly bowed and said, "We apologize for the delay. We will find a new carriage for Miss Qin at the next post station."
The soldiers didn't linger and quickly carried Tao Qingyang onto the carriage.
Qin Song couldn't help but remind him, "Be careful, his abdominal wound hasn't healed yet."
The soldiers then moved quietly and carefully escorted him into the carriage.
The Zhenbei Army rode away, leaving only a few fine horses and a group of guards outside the courtyard.
Li Yu silently watched the caravan disappear into the distance, suddenly regretting having given him the carriage. What a wanton and slutty fox, showing even his abdominal wound to others!
"Li Yu".
As he was thinking, the beautiful woman's voice came, and he immediately turned to look at her.
"What are you thinking about?" Qin Song asked casually, but before he could answer, he got back to business, "Have all the guards outside come in."
Li Yu snapped out of his thoughts and summoned all the people outside the courtyard.
Facing the crowd, Qin Song pointed to the three people at the front: "There are three horses outside the courtyard. You three should ride ahead at full speed to inform my father to reinforce the city's defenses. Also, send a personal letter back to the capital, stating that the disease in Yunzhou is spreading rapidly, and that the city's defense battalion and the Zhenbei Army have shown signs of infection. Request the court to send medical personnel and also request the court to send more troops to resist the northern barbarians. Furthermore, request his approval as I am about to depart for Jiangnan."
Her words left no room for argument, and the three guards obeyed and sped away.
With her father's intelligence, he probably already sensed the movement. Now that he's said this, he'll surely understand the deeper meaning.
After the message was delivered, she finally breathed a sigh of relief and continued to instruct: "The rest of you continue to guard the city. Once the carriage arrives, return to the city immediately."
"yes."
After everything was arranged, Li Yu asked softly, "Are you going to Jiangnan in person?"
Qin Song was still holding the clean clothes that Uncle Zhao had found for her. After arranging the emergency matters, she felt uncomfortable with the stickiness all over her body.
"Hmm." Qin Song nodded. "Why didn't you bring any maids? Tao Yao is also nowhere to be seen."
“Since you were discovered missing, everyone except those in important positions has been searching for you. When the Zhenbei Army reported to us, they were not at the yamen. I happened to be interrogating Xue Ci, and I rushed over as soon as I heard the news. What can I do to help you?”
"My right hand is not very mobile, help me wash and change my clothes." Qin Song handed him the clothes in his arms.
Li Yu's ears turned red quickly; he really wanted to kiss her.
He took the clothes from her hands, turned to Ah Zhao who was not far away, and ordered, "Prepare water."
After saying this, he bent down, picked her up, and carried her into the house.
The broken tabletop inside the room had been cleaned up by the person who had just entered, and the traces left by the chaotic tearing and rigging with Tao Qingyang had been mostly smoothed out.
As soon as the door closed, the wild beast that Li Yu had been hiding in the shadows broke free of its cage once more.
He took off his clothes, and there were still faint ink marks left by her when she played with him last time on his firm abs.
He deliberately didn't wash it off completely, as if her hand was still on his body.
His breathing was already erratic, but his thoughts were still nagging at him. He took her hand and placed it on his well-defined abs. "I have them too. Don't look at Tao Qingyang anymore."
He may not possess her and is happy to satisfy all her interests, but he will still be jealous and doesn't want her to look at other men.
The mere mention of Tao Qingyang brought back the emptiness Qin Song had been unable to fill.
“Then give it to me.” She held his strong waist, pulled him towards her, and kissed his chin as she said, “From here to the post station to call a carriage, it will take at least an hour. That’s enough time.”
“Not enough.” Li Yu’s breathing became more erratic, and she lowered her head to her lips. “Make them wait.”
As soon as he finished speaking, a kiss came down like a long-awaited rain.
Their inseparable entanglement drew them closer and closer.
He carefully avoided the wound on her shoulder and took off her outer garment.
On her snow-white right shoulder, there were still dried bloodstains, which made Li Yu feel extremely distressed.
He lowered his head and kissed near her wound. Qin Song was in great pain and tilted her head back to avoid his hot breath.
But the gentle brush of his fluffy hair still ignited a fire in her heart.
"First, use your hands, starting here..." Qin Song's breathing was rapid, his tone dazed.
The soft touch made Li Yu's fingers curl slightly, but he soon couldn't control himself...
They undressed, and the kissing continued.
Compared to his previous awkwardness, he was much more skilled now, and took care of her gently.
...
Qin Song convulsed and almost couldn't stand up.
There were no extra facilities in the room. Li Yu laid her on the couch, leaned down and kissed her lips again. Qin Song lifted his chin and traced his lips with his gaze: "Let's change to here."
Li Yu's breathing became disordered. He instantly understood what she meant, raised the scholar's hands, and, in the light streaming in through the window, the glistening water droplets shone brightly.
He stared at his hands and said three words earnestly, “Very beautiful.”
Qin Song's body was soft and hot, and he thought the man was praising his hands. But the next second, he licked his fingers.
Blood was surging, excitement and heat coursing through Qin Song, who was captivated by his alluring expression, making her even more thirsty and nauseous.
But he didn't give her a chance to catch her breath. His lips traced her chin, neck, and collarbone... He buried his face in her mouth and quickly found his rhythm.
She had tried everything to relieve her anxiety, but now she had found a solution. She closed her eyes and sank into the mattress as if all her strength had been released.
"Songniang, you are so beautiful."
Before the trembling subsided, Li Yu's scalding voice came again.
His tone remained serious, but he didn't look at her face; his gaze was fixed on the spot where his fingers had touched again.
The tremor that had just ended felt like ants crawling all over me.
Qin Song couldn't take it anymore. She curled up her legs and pressed them against his chin, pulling him in front of her. "Have you seen enough?"
Li Yu stared into her eyes, his throat bobbing, a secret ambition rising within him.
Without waiting for a reply, the two leaned in almost simultaneously and kissed each other's lips.
"Young master, the water is ready." Ah Zhao's voice came from outside the door.
Inside, the atmosphere was lively and intimate, with people seemingly inseparable.
Li Yu parted his lips slightly, intending to send him away, but Qin Song's eyes were misty with tears as she covered his lips, saying, "Let's wash together."
The lust in Li Yu's eyes intensified. He leaned in and kissed her again, only releasing her after a long while, and then instructed those outside: "Place it next door."
The water was quickly prepared, and the door was closed again.
He avoided her shoulder wound, spread her legs, picked her up, and accidentally...
Li Yu's eyes trembled slightly. Standing in front of the bed, he stiffly held her, caught in a dilemma.
Qin Song was also uncomfortable from being stuck, so he grabbed his shoulders and sank down...
It wasn't as easy as it was for Lu Youchuan; it was swollen. After a long while, the two kissed again and made their way to the steaming bathtub.
Only clothes remained, scattered all over the bed.
Qin Song thought he would put her in, but instead he simply picked her up and stepped into the bathtub together.
Although she was thin, she was still an adult. Qin Song's impression of the physical stature of a scholar changed greatly when he carried her into the tall bathtub.
He lifted her up slightly to prevent the wound from coming into contact with raw water.
Warm water enveloped the two of them completely.
Qin Song leaned on his shoulder, looking down at him from a low angle. Her eyes were fixed on his firm chest muscles, which were covered with a thin layer of moisture, making it hard to tell whether it was sweat or mist. His damp long hair clung to his chest, making him look even more sexy, and it made people's mouths dry.
He would sometimes bury his head and lean closer to kiss her on both sides, and sometimes he would tilt his head back to look into her eyes, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down. His emotions made his cheeks flush, and his pale face suddenly became more beautiful.
Sexy and alluring.
Qin Song liked this face very much. Even in such a decadent situation, it still carried the spirit of a young man and the noble dignity that a scholar usually possessed. The more it was like this, the more Qin Song found it alluring.
She couldn't get enough of kissing him; she wanted to kiss every inch of his face, provided the ride wasn't so bumpy.
Qin Song hunched over, wanting to kiss her, when a sudden tingling sensation rose in his waist and abdomen, invading his entire body. She could only kiss his forehead, raise her hand to caress his cheek, and gently rub his earlobe.
He gently rubbed his face against her palm, the fine downy hairs at his temples tickling and numbing her palm, intensifying the strange sensation.
Li Yu's abdominal muscles tensed and relaxed at times, and her breathing was hot.
Unconsciously, the sensation of him swallowing her fingers that night flashed through her mind, like sparks bursting forth, silently pulling her apart.
She moved her hand to touch the corner of his mouth; his delicate, moist lips, red and glistening from the kiss, inexplicably aroused a destructive urge in him.
The water rippled, Qin Song's breathing quickened, his thumb brushed against his lips, and with a slight pressure, he pressed his fingertip into his mouth.
Enveloped in a soft, moist touch, he took the initiative to lick her fingertips and palms... a sensation several times more tingling than the touch on her hands that night.
After just a couple of licks and bites, Qin Song's body went limp again, her head resting on his left shoulder, panting softly.
"Songniang, I exercise every day. From now on, will you only be with me?" Li Yu asked softly, kissing the tip of her nose as he pulled her fingers away from his mouth. His voice was deep and his tone gentle as he spoke to her.
Qin Song's body went limp and he couldn't speak. His uninjured hand gripped the edge of the bathtub tightly, and he couldn't stop trembling.
The water was surging, and Li Yu held the person in his arms tightly, not expecting an answer from her.
Her presence is enough.
Honey rises to the top, in the heart, at the bottom of the water.
His panting stopped, and he put his arm around her waist again, shifting their position so that her back was against him...
