Chapter 22 Jealousy
In order to keep a low profile this time, Xiao Chen and his team drove a military off-road vehicle, while the other teams drove their own cars. There were eight cars in total. Xiao Chen and Lin Luo, Wang Ming, and Sun Qi drove in the front, the three teams were in the middle, and Luo Junze and Chen Tong, Wei Long, Luo Yueyue and the other four were in the back.
The zombies surrounding the base had been largely cleared, and the road was clear for them to drive out of the base. The weather was getting increasingly hot and humid, and the air conditioner was blasting, but there was no cooling effect. Lin Luo was sweating profusely in the car, so he fanned himself vigorously with a fan.
"Is this horrible weather going to kill me? Damn, I'm almost dying of heat." Wang Ming said in a state of despair.
Xiao Chen took the fan from Lin Luo's hand and fanned her. When Lin Luo had her hands free, she remembered that she had a lot of ice cubes stored in her space, so she put out two full buckets of ice cubes, and the car became cool instantly.
Wang Ming and Sun Qi sighed comfortably.

Xiao Chen looked at the blushing Lin Luo, a slight smile appeared on the corner of his mouth, and he leaned close to Lin Luo's ear and whispered something.
Lin Luo's face, which was already very red, turned even redder in an instant. She looked at the shameless man in front of her, threw a bottle of water to him, and said shyly.
"Drink it if you want."
Xiao Chen took it with a chuckle, unscrewed the bottle cap, tilted his head back to drink the water, his Adam's apple rolling, inexplicably with a hint of sexiness. Lin Luo couldn't help but look at the Adam's apple moving up and down, and suddenly felt a little dry in the mouth. She secretly cursed herself for being useless. Xiao Chen could seduce her with just a simple action.
Lin Luo drank a sip of water as if to cover up, and quietly looked away without letting Xiao Chen notice.
At noon, everyone stopped on a section of national highway to get some fresh air. Lin Luo and Luo Yueyue went to a more secluded place to meet their physiological needs. There were barren rice fields on both sides of the road and the plants had died.
After the two came back, Lin Luoxian and Luo Yueyue went to their car and put two buckets of ice for them, then turned around and went back to find Xiao Chen.
From a distance, I saw Xiao Chen and Lan Kexin standing together and talking about something. Xiao Chen was tall and handsome, while Lan Kexin was petite and beautiful. She had a sweet smile on her face and her eyes were shining as she looked at Xiao Chen. They looked like a perfect match.
Lin Luo felt a little uncomfortable for some reason. She did not go forward to disturb them, but stood quietly not far away and watched them.
Xiao Chen noticed Lin Luo as soon as she approached. He impatiently ended his conversation with Lan Kexin and walked towards Lin Luo.
Lin Luo couldn't help but feel jealous and said in a sour tone: "Why don't you spend more time with that beautiful lady? Why do you come to me?"
Xiao Chen laughed helplessly, looked at Lin Luo's jealous little face, couldn't help pinching it, and explained.
"She came to me to ask some questions about this movement, and I couldn't refuse."
Lin Luo snorted and ignored him.
Xiao Chen embraced Lin Luo, held her in his arms, rested his chin on her shoulder, and coaxed her in a low voice.
Lan Kexin saw the two people hugging each other, the extremely harmonious atmosphere, as if there was no room for a third person. Something flashed through her mind and she frowned.
After everyone had something to eat, they continued on their journey.
As the sky gradually darkened, the stuffy air was slightly relieved. The car stopped at the intersection of a small village. There was no one around, and this was the only place to rest nearby.
