Shen Ye suppressed his anger.
"I clearly asked my assistant to inform you!"
Sudan remained calm and spoke softly,
"Are you the one who wants to invite me or is it your assistant? Mr. Shen, don't you even know the most basic invitation when inviting people to dinner?"
Jiang Ke also understood some of what was said and stood up to try to stop the fight, but was scolded by both of them in unison.
He had no choice but to sit back down in silence.
If the Sultan takes the lead again, he will say:
"Boss Shen and I are just superiors and subordinates in the company. Boss Shen, if you have anything to say, you can talk to me at the company. There's no need to treat me to a meal privately, lest someone sees and stirs up some scandal, which will affect your reputation!"
Shen Ye's heart tightened when he heard Sudan Ruo say this. Was Sudan Ruo really planning to draw a clear line between them?
"You! You did that to me, don't you intend to take responsibility at all?"
When Jiang Ke heard this, his eyes widened like bells, and he kept looking back and forth between the two of them.
Sultan snorted coldly.
"Heh, didn't Mr. Shen say that what happened before should be treated as if it never happened? Now you want me to be responsible, what are you thinking?"
Shen Ye remained silent. He was very conflicted and didn't know what was wrong with him.
But when he saw Sudanruo sitting and talking and laughing with another man, he felt a pang of sadness in his heart.
She wished she could get rid of all the men around Sudanruo and leave only herself by his side.
But he was also a little afraid that the relationship would eventually become dull.
He was afraid that one day the two of them would quarrel every day like his parents did.
