Chapter 6 Exchange Conditions
Jun Huolan looked at the silent Mo Yunzhu and sneered, "Are you scared now?"
Mo Yunzhu actually felt very sympathetic towards him in her heart. Being a hostage was already difficult, but he was poisoned and sent away. How did he survive these ten years?
"Fortunately, I just think you are actually quite lucky. So you want revenge?" Mo Yunzhu raised her eyes and looked at him, "The person who poisoned you is the prince?"
They looked at each other, this time seriously and a little heavy.
Jun Huolan shook his head and didn't want to continue, but his aura became even gloomier, with a hint of sadness.
"After you used poison to fight poison, the original poison became more complicated. It's not easy to completely remove it. However, I can help you relieve the symptoms first, and then prepare an antidote for you, but it will take time."
Mo Yunzhu let go of his hand and looked at him seriously.
"I don't have much time." Jun Huolan was a little disappointed.
"With me here, your time can be extended a lot. Even if there is no antidote, it will be no problem for you to live for another ten or eight years." Mo Yunzhu raised her eyebrows.
Jun Huolan's eyes suddenly lit up, and he asked with a little excitement: "Ten or eight years?"
"I don't want to be a widow so early." Mo Yunzhu laughed at herself, "Even if I can't be the Crown Princess, I, Mo Yunzhu, can't lose face as the Princess of Lan."
Hao Jiang was also very excited and asked anxiously: "Princess, then, what kind of herbs are needed to prepare the antidote?"
"Don't worry, first find a clean bottle and take half of the prince's blood. I want to take it back for research."
"Okay, I'll go find the bottle right away." Hao Jiang was more excited than Jun Huo Lan and ran away quickly.
Mo Yunzhu looked at the silent Jun Huolan and smiled, "Do you suddenly feel a little hopeful about the future?"
Jun Huolan was stunned, then burst into laughter.
Just with this smile, Mo Yunzhu lost her composure.
With handsome eyebrows and eyes, thin lips slightly curved, his whole face looks like a blooming green lotus, like a seductive fairy. How can there be such a good-looking man? Are you sure he is not a wrong gender? If this guy recovers from his illness, stops being disabled, and gains some weight, he will be so charming to all women in the world.
If she had a man like this, she would feel a sense of accomplishment just thinking about it.
"There is indeed some hope." Jun Huolan answered, and suddenly felt that it would be nice to have a princess like this.
"That's good to think so. Then let's negotiate the terms first?" Mo Yunzhu knows how to use the right timing. It will be much easier to negotiate when the other party is in a good mood.
"How many conditions?" Jun Huolan looked at her with a frown.
"Two, just two." Mo Yunzhu stretched out two fingers.
Jun Huolan raised his eyebrows slightly, then nodded, seeming a little surprised that there were only two conditions.
"After I marry into Prince Lan's mansion, we can only be fake husband and wife. We can treat each other with respect, but we cannot sleep in the same bed. In other words, I want to have an independent yard, private space, and be able to enter and exit the palace freely. This is my first condition."
Jun Huolan frowned, but immediately nodded and said, "Okay."
He was not looking for a wife in the first place. What he needed was the identity of Princess Lan as the eldest daughter of a great general's mansion.
"Okay, the second condition is that you have to promise me something. I haven't thought of anything yet, but if I bring it up one day, you have to agree."
Mo Yunzhu thought that this guy was too cunning and difficult to deal with, so she had to leave a way out for herself.
Jun Huolan's face tensed up, and after a while he blurted out, "You want me to die?"
"I'm not that boring. It must be something you can do and it's not against the law." Mo Yunzhu rolled her eyes.
Jun Huolan stared at her pretty face with rich expressions for a long time, pondering in his mind.
"Okay, I promise you." Jun Huolan finally nodded, his eyes flickering, "Mo Yunzhu, you really exceeded my expectations."
Mo Yunzhu smiled brightly, took out a set of silver needles from the small bag on her waist and said, "It's not unexpected, it should be a pleasant surprise. Well, since we have agreed on the terms, I will help you relieve the symptoms of poisoning first, lie on the soft bed."
Jun Huolan stood up obediently, limped to the couch and lay down.
Mo Yunzhu felt it was a pity that such a handsome man was a cripple.
"Are the tendons or bones in your leg broken?" Mo Yunzhu asked.
"I was shot by an arrow. The journey back took too long and I missed the best time for treatment. The bones grew out of place and became like this."
"Can I take a look?" Mo Yunzhu frowned, feeling painful just thinking about it.
Jun Huolan was stunned, and said with a bit of embarrassment: "Very ugly."
Mo Yunzhu was stunned for a moment, then smiled and said, "Prince, I am a doctor, and I have seen uglier wounds."
"Oh, which one is uglier?"
"There are many who have been torn apart by wild beasts, severely burned by fire, or cut into pieces. Is yours any better than theirs?"
Jun Huolan was surprised. Has she seen them all?
He pulled up his trouser legs consciously and slowly took off his thick white socks.
Mo Yunzhu looked at the sunken wound, which was left after the arrow was pulled out. The big bone of the foot was tilted outward on one side, as if something had grown out. It looked awkward and she wanted to grind it flat.
Her face was serious, and she reached out and lifted Jun Huolan's feet to check them.
Jun Huolan was startled, his eyes flickered slightly, and his face felt a little hot, but fortunately Mo Yunzhu was very serious and didn't notice.
It was the first time a woman held his feet since he was ten years old.
Before the age of ten, he had servants to serve him, but the days after that turned into an unwanted nightmare. If it were not for the hatred that supported him, if it were not for the calculations at every step, he would have died long ago.
Mo Yunzhu's hands were white, slender and long, but not soft. Instead, they were a little rough, yet very warm.
"Your Highness, I can treat your foot, but your current physical condition is not suitable for surgery. Let's wait until you are healthier." Mo Yunzhu said after thinking about the feasibility.
Hao Jiang came in with a bottle and just heard these words. He immediately rushed over and knelt in front of Mo Yunzhu, which scared Mo Yunzhu.
"Princess, are you telling the truth?" Hao Jiang looked like he was about to cry. "The prince has suffered so much, princess, you must cure him."
"Hao Jiang!" Jun Huolan shouted angrily. This subordinate was becoming more and more stupid.
"My Lord, didn't you hear me? The princess can heal your leg. Do you know how bad the rumors are?"
Hao Jiang said anxiously that he was really heartbroken for his master.
"Do you think I care about rumors?" Jun Huolan's eyes were as cold as an ice pond.
Mo Yunzhu looked at him. The coldness on his handsome face and the determination in his eyes made her heart seem to be stabbed.
He must have experienced too much suffering and his heart was closed.
"It's okay, take your time. I'll give you an injection to relieve the poison first." Mo Yunzhu immediately helped him put on his socks and winked at Hao Jiang.
Hao Jiang stepped back, his eyes a little moist, and suddenly he said as if he had thought of something: "By the way, Master, I just heard outside that the Crown Prince is going to re-select the Crown Princess."
Jun Huolan immediately looked at Mo Yunzhu.
Mo Yunzhu was a little surprised, but soon burst out laughing and said, "It seems that Mo Huaiqing has made wedding clothes for others."
