Chapter 385 [Red Button]

Naraku was startled.

She wiped the tears from her face, turned and ran.

The barrier and the city wall were left behind by her footsteps. She ran with great effort and soon began to gasp for breath.

She stopped in front of a clump of trees near the west end.

She sat in the deserted grass, the snow on the slope was blown by the wind, covering her area. The crooked tree slowly fell in the snow.

Suddenly, she heard a discussion, which seemed to come from the other side of the woods, accompanied by rustling footsteps.

"…So we have to look for Lin Yin first?"

"Yes, look for Lin Yin. It's obvious that she is the occupant of that team. As long as she dies, all the points and rewards for destroying Su Mingan's team will fall on us. There is no need for us to fight Su Mingan himself."

"Lin Yin is just a nanny. She should be easy to kill. The key now is to find her..."

A team of players with different equipment walked out from the bushes while talking.

The two sides' eyes met, and the players from that team were stunned for a moment.

Suddenly, a tall and strong player in the lead shouted, "This person is the important NPC next to Su Mingan! Catch her!"

A young female player next to him immediately reached out her hand. Ice-blue ice turned into three thick chains that sprang out from her palm and pounced on Naraku who was still sitting on the small slope.

Naraku didn't know why this group of people suddenly attacked her. She stepped back half a step, raised her spear, and stabbed at the ice lock that was rushing towards her.

“Squeak, squeak, squeak—”

The blood-red spear and the ice-blue chain scraped against each other, making a harsh friction sound. The young female player just waved her hand, and the chain flexibly brushed past the spear that Naraku stabbed out and quickly wrapped around her arm.

"Stop - who are you! I am a member of the Mir family -" Naraku subconsciously raised his chin and roared this, then suddenly stopped.

Her eyes dimmed a little and she stopped talking.

She turned the spear in her hand, trying to pierce through the ice chain, but her wrist made a crisp "click" sound, which seemed to be the sound made by her own bones, and she grimaced in pain.

The next moment, the cold chain suddenly tightened, taking with it the spear in her hand. Her arm was bent, and the other two chains took the opportunity to get stuck on her body.

“Crack!”

The ice lock tightened, and the tall and strong man grabbed her red hair and pressed her head to the ground.

"This guy doesn't seem to be Praia's NPC." said a thin and small male player.

"Who knows? Anyway, it must be important. Maybe he is the one who holds the key clues. Let's catch him first."

"It's so weak. Is this kind of NPC really valuable?" said the person next to him.

"I just saw her following the first player all the time, so that should be helpful."

The players were talking to each other and looking down at Naraku. A skinny male player was even planning to go straight for it and grab her clothes to rip them off.

"Please make way for me, let me see if this NPC has anything hidden on him..." He smiled brightly.

The others saw this and acquiesced to his behavior. After all, Naraku was just an NPC. In their eyes, he was basically no different from an "object" and could be dealt with in any way they wanted. Even if the other party was a player, as long as there was no guild behind them to protect them, they would still do the same.

"Stop it - get out of here - Su Lin is definitely not dead! I believe him! He will kill you, he will definitely kill you -"

The cold chains were taken back by the player, revealing frostbite scars on Naraku's body. She struggled to protect the spear in her hand, as if she was protecting some treasure, but the clothes on her shoulders were ripped off by someone.

"Su Lin?" The players looked at each other.

"Su Lin is Su Mingan." said the female player swinging the chain.

"Su Ming'an has probably already failed, so why would he care about you?" The tall and strong man sneered, "Does he really think he can cross the sea to kill the Sea Monster King? Once his identity as Su Lin dies, even if his clone can be resurrected, his plot line must have failed. Now he doesn't even know where to hide to recover..."

He grabbed Xiaoyu's clothes and pulled him back: "Xiaoyu, don't waste time on this NPC. Go kill Lin Yin first, and you will have as many women as you want in the future."

"I just want to see if there are any clues on her." Xiaoyu laughed.

"Did you find it?"

"I haven't finished searching yet, there's still one last place..." His hand reached towards Naraku's chest.

“Tick-tock.”

A crisp sound rang in people's ears.

Naraku, who was struggling violently, suddenly paused. When she heard the voice, the light in her eyes gradually brightened.

“Tick-tock.”

The sound then rang out.

"What's that sound?"

The players quickly became alert and looked around.

Naraku protected the spear in his hand and looked up at the distant sky with a vague look.

Like a petal blooming, a blood-red arc quickly spread out with her as the center, accompanied by a crisp "tick-tock" sound.

“Bang!”

There was a sound of something heavy falling to the ground, and the players were so frightened that they trembled all over and turned around and ran away.

"run!"

Someone shouted this, and they rushed towards the bloody light without even looking back.

For most players in this kind of game, the most important thing for them is not intelligence or strength, but good luck and the ability to survive.

If you encounter danger, it’s absolutely right to turn around and run.

Who knows if this danger is some kind of instant death setting in the copy, it won’t reason with you at all.
